Picture something that looks like crap, then picture it in the same color as your truck. There you go.

Just kidding! (Kind of.)

I am not a fan of the z71 (or other) flares on this body style. I WAS a fan of the flares on my '02, but GM tightened up the lines on this body style, and nothing looks tacked-on like it did on the '06-and-earlier body. Some folks here have even removed the flares from their factory z71s. I think you will hurt the look of your truck by adding flares.

@KMel - I 100% Agree. I had the nbs Z71 with the fender flares and it looked great... not so much on the nnbs...

I agree that the aftermarket flares look tacked on. However, the Z71 OEM flares are just right but I am biased :bleh:!

yes i am curious as well. It would probally look good for my winter 17s setup, but not sure how it would look with the summer 20s back on

I had a set of them on my truck ad took them off. I can't say that I disliked them, but I just liked how the truck looked without them. I still have them if you're interested.

I don't really like the look of the fender flares on the NNBS due to the offset of the stock wheels. If you get some aftermarket wheels with an offset that puts the wheels further out so they're flush with the flares then it would probably look fine. But the stock wheels are tucked clear up under the flares and it just looks goofy IMHO....

Does anyone have a photo of their truck with flares installed? Either OEM or aftermarket. Was thinking about Bushwacker OE 0.5" fender flares on our new 2011 Yukon. I was going to paint them Onyx Black to match the body color. Have the standard 17" aluminum factory wheels and tires.

Any update on this. I really would like to see some. The Bushwhacker site has the OE flares but not for LTZ. What is the difference between a LT and a LTZ that would cause the flares to not fit...cause I have never noticed it.

SW CT,
The difference is with the rear bumper cover. The LTZ one with the hitch cover integrated in it has a different body line as it travels up the side to the back of the rear wheelwell opening.

I didn't think there were any differences ... guess I will check with Bushwacker

really? I though only denali and escalades had a different bumper

All 07+ Denali's and Escalade's have the "different" bumper, but the Tahoe LTZ did not get this bumper until 2009+

Mine is an 08 LTZ so I didn't get it but it's so much cleaner I ended up upgrading it...

Before I bought my 07 z71 I looked at a white 07 LT with lift and the Z71 fender flares and it looked awesome! Don't think it would look good with street tires though

Mine is an 08 as well...standard bumper. I am afraid that if I get them I will wish I had the CCM and Nittos back!!! The Bushwacker site has a LT in the pics that looks pretty good. I may try these...I really like the look of them on the Z-71. Looks more truck like

Here are some pictures that I found online doing an internet search. Please note that none of these are my photos; I just found them for reference.

If they are done right (color matched, installed correctly, tires that look good with them, and they fit the style of your truck) I don't think they look too bad. At least in these photos they don't.
