4L60E - All created equal?

I need a new tranny and a new t-case. Yay. Craigslist has a bunch of rebuilt ones for a good price. I'm wondering if all 4L60's are built the same, or if the housings were dependent on model year, or body style, or something dumb like that?

Right. I'll rephrase? Are the bell housings and bolt patterns the same for all vehicles that this tranny went into?

no theyre not

my trans started life in an 03 rclb same with the rear, yes they will interchange. but a 4l60e from a t/a or camaro definitely will not.
