Have you tried reviving it with a booster? Not all of them have the capability to revive a battery, and not all batteries are revivable.
The NICO I have does a good job, but I found out this year that some batteries are just too far gone. Then it’s like leaving someone on life support. The battery shows full, but once hooked up and the jumper is removed…nodda. One start pony - if that.

I have fixed several old batteries I thought were long gone. They just needed a good slow charge and a repair cycle. Ran for a couple more years after that.

Also Getting ready for my junkyards annual 60 for 60 sale. Anything you carry 60 ft is yours for 60 bucks.
Gonna try to get the rest of the Denail stuff and maybe a new tailgate if they have a white one.
Using a wagon is different than carrying. Or are you allowed to use any means, once you have successfully transported your items 60’?

After cleaning my throttle body, etc.,
I noticed a design flaw with the Airaid intake….. The radiator hose is against the bottom of the intake.
I will fab some sort of insulation between them. Kinda silly to have a hot hose to heat the “cool air”.
I’m not sure if mine rests against the bottom. You have me curious. I know the K&N and OEM both used a standoff with a plastic hose clamp.

Maybe if gm used some high quality bearings things would last longer but they want you to buy another one when the warranty runs out, I like to keep mine a lot longer.
All the broken stuff did was lead me to have it upgraded.
truth is everything in my life needs to be heavy duty, I am just too rough on everything.
I had to learn how to ease up on the pedal a little bit and not slam the door so hard it breaks the speaker and panels off
that and I am a little bit tall & clumsy so anything below the knees might get smacked or stepped on including small children or animals
can't have glass coffee tables those are shin breakers
and I don't know why but i have had to replace every electrical socket and light switch in the house, cabinets and drawers too. the silverware drawer I had to do this
I have 4 other drawers that need the same treatment

we call that a complete and total lack of finesse. guys like that are useful in the shops when you need heavy things done, but have a habit of breaking more than they fix haha. turn a simple fix into a scrapped for repair value higher then unit value.

the herina repair costs way more than buying the part outright lol. I'll pass on carrying stuff.

ahh, good for you! I am AWD and that's keeping me from doing a build like yours lol. I thought about doing an overland build but the AWD is iffy with offroading so I'm gonna keep er' street only for now and then eventually get a true 4x4.

The AWD on these is shockingly capable on bad slick snow covered roads. Its no Audi Quattro by any means but where it lacks traction shines with its ability to work with the driver for some fun dancing/drifting in the snow.

I never thought it would be so simple and fun to slide and dfrit a nearly 7000lb vehicle and I can not beleive how well the rear steps out and alows you to control power slides, these are things that the AUDI systems will never allow under light throttles.

I will say the 2007 Traction system is much more loose and lets you do a lot of power oversteeer and straight line sideways drift vs the 2011 MY system which steps in far too quickly and kills all the fun.

9" of snow was no problem for either of these.

Not having low range off road is no good.
Very shortly I will be upgrading to an Atlas 4 speed.
My last 'test' session stretched my T-case chain badly.

I have also found the AWD to work pretty decent off road.
Trick is don't drive it like a 4X4. Just let it do its thing and it will do more than a guy thinks. It's not a real 4X4 though and i do plan on changing mine over next summer to a 4X4 transfer case and front diff.

Are you able to do a 4x4 conversion and use a stock selector (2wd, 4hi, 4lo)? Or do you need to add a manual T-case with a manual shifter?

Awesome, thanks for the details. I assume those shops are down near the seacoast?

Im up near Lebanon, and am still looking for a good/reasonable speed shop and/or a place that can fine-tune BBPs on a dyno or road-tune.

I get that G80s aren't regarded for performance stuff, but I don't hear about them exploding as much as Internet-lore suggests. Your rug is gonna rip after the upgrade.
I updated my post (#52319) with some additional information that you were asking about.

I was asked on another forum what the difference was at night with the hybrid lights so I figured I'd post here to.View attachment 473155. Pictured are the hybrids. Only the top portion of the light is illuminated at night with the bottom strictly being turn signals. I really want to put LEDs in the plate housing but all the screws are stripped out lol.
So I have a set of these lights, Which ones are the brake lights the upper ones? That means the lower ones are just for turn signal? Or the other way around, uppers are parking lights only and the brake and turn is done at the bottom?

In the Marine Corps, we had some ogres like you @Doubeleive - most of them were the kind bullet sponge gorillas who could push a 7-ton without breaking a sweat, or carry a .50 w/ barrel on a 20 mile ruck just because.
But most of those same ASVAB wavers couldn’t swim, and could not be trusted around anything breakable. Bull in a China shop.

These are just for aesthetics? No light up top?

My ‘02 is more fun with it being a 4WD push button select, vs my ‘11 which is AWD. If you turnoff the traction control, you can play a little more. But are at risk of an oops if you don’t know how to counter steer. So those who didn’t grow up playing in the snow, be safe.

So I have a set of these lights, Which ones are the brake lights the upper ones? That means the lower ones are just for turn signal? Or the other way around, uppers are parking lights only and the brake and turn is done at the bottom?
The ones that come on the Esky are solid light top to bottom correct? Well, for brake lights anyway?

I was speechless when I started bleeding the rear brakes… the first few pumps looked like chocolate milk

The new brakes feel so much better with the new fluid too
Moisture. Either brake fluid getting too hot and burning, air getting in the lines, or adding old brake fluid to a system with old brake fluid in it (without ever flushing/fully bleeding). That will cause the milky look. Same thing goes with gear oil. If it gets moisture in it - Kahlúa and cream or White Russians.

I originally had 3.42 gears, and a 10 bolt G80 rear axle.
Did you have that 10 bolt installed or was that a factory option over the 12? I thought that was only on the bigger HD trucks.
