New stereo should be here Wednesday. Had to wait a couple of days before they could ship it out as the new shipment had not been unloaded yet. On its way now though.
Also got the proper clock spring yesterday. Installed it this morning and all is working as it should now.
Here is the part number of the china one i got that fit.

Got this today. Good news, It arrived perfect. I even tried installing in Cracker but no go.
Im having the worst luck lately:( This would cheer me up though:boobs:
The crux interface is not working. After talking to Crux tech support, it was determined to be a bad interface. No led lights as it was supplied with 12V.
A new one is on the way but it's another 3 or 4 days waiting.

Got the new Crux SWRGM-49 interface today and thought i would bench test it.
Hooked 12V to the battery + and the ground to -. No lights, nothing. I doubt i could have gotten 2 bad new units. I more think i could be hooking up something wrong but i have no idea what it could be. Seems like an easy installation with no complicated wiring involved.
With the unit powered, no lights come on.
I wonder if there is a trigger wire on the vehicle wire harness that tells the interface to come on?

Can someone look at this PDF instructions and let me know if im missing something obvious?

Could it possibly require lower voltage?

On your head unit connections:

Your red wire is your trigger wire and should power up the unit when 12 volts are applied to it. This should ultimately be connected to a power source that turns on when your truck is in the ACC position or the motor is running.

The yellow wire should be hooked up to a constant 12 volt power source.

I can power up the radio without a problem using the 12v battery + Battery - and the acc 12V +
Fallowing the Crux wiring diagram both the radio and interface acc should be connected together. The Crux interface would then provide the acc to turn on the radio.
I believe it would then require a signal from the vehicle to provide the interface a turn on signal to turn on the acc to the radio if im understanding it all correctly.
On the bench i can not get the Crux interface to power on and it will not power on installed in the vehicle.
Im assuming either the interface is bad or it is not the correct interface for Y91/UQA Bose system.

Soooo, Now im going to drive the hour and a half one way to Best Buy and pick this up "PAC, RP5-GM31" It does list my Bose Y91 system as compatible.

#1 set the dip switches?
#2 used the port for bose?
#3 checked troubleshooting led? (no led means no power received)
#4 yellow (constant) & red (accessory) wires can (and should) be connected together for testing
black is ground
#5 powering on head unit (power button)
#6 re-check from #1

The Y91 code covers systems that may include the Navigation component. I believe that I read in your interface instructions attachment, that it was NOT compatible with the Navigation component.

Ok, I have the PAC interface partly wired up enough to test. Seems to be working good. Radio turns on/off and RAP works.
Have not tried the radio/amp function yet or anything for that matter, Just on/off and rap.
Wife wants to go to dinner so i'll finish it tomorrow.

At the moment i have my sub amp hooked to an LOC connected to the Bose sub output.
Wondering if it would be better without the LOC and have the sub amp hooked directly to the stereo sub output's
I know if it's hooked to the stereo i would have way more adjustability reason im asking.

If I was in your shoes I’d probably run the RCAs directly to the radio output. But I guess it depends what kind of LOC you’re using.

I’m part of a few car audio groups that prefer using the lc2i (or alike) LOCs even with aftermarket radios.. gives them more control of their audio, but they’re running ridiculous sound systems too.

Here it is looking final install, but it's not.
I have to take it back out and turn the Bose amp gain up on the PAC interface. Did not think to check that before i put it in.

Finished getting it installed. Everything is working as it should that the PAC interface advertised to do.
I did not get to mess with it much today after finishing up, but i can say. It is an improvement over the stock radio.
Fuller or richer i don't know but it is an improvement for sure.
Over the next week or two, i'll be able to learn all the settings and get it dialed in to my liking.
