I get it if you have a bad back, it can contort you in weird ways.

Overall not too bad, there was adequate room but tight. Was a number of different small extension combinations for the full process.

The stool positioned in this manner really makes a big difference with a firm footing.

#8 plug trick: use a regular depth 3/4” socket on the end of a magnetic 5/8” plug socket. Put the plug socket on the plug, and use the ratchet/ 3/4” socket combo to wrench it. There’s a reason for the socket end on ratchet side the plug socket. It makes the perfect length to get #8 out. No other extensions, etc. Try it!

Had to pull the 2nd row seats and swap out the beige plastic (I'm converting the interior from beige to black. Inching closer to finish line...). This took a while as I had to pull trim off 4 seats (beige from existing and black from donor seats) and reinstall on 2 for the finished product.

Side hurdle:

There is a little 7mm nut that you have to take off first that fastens to the large outer plastic pieces via a seated thread screw. It was hard to find this plastic piece intact and as people at yards just yank on the plastic and it breaks the seated threaded screw off.

Oil and filter change. Did it in the driveway and put it up on the QuickJack so I could also roll round under it and spray parts of the underside with Surface Shield. I'm surprised that all the new control arms and tie rods are already getting that powdery light brown rust coating on them. It's only been about 4 months.

I had my daughter climb up in it to reset the OLM and take the obligatory picture

I'd prefer a lift, or even one of those MaxJax, but I didn't want something that had to be used in the same spot all the time. I have too many vehicles to have to move around to use it. With this I can use it wherever, anywhere in the garage or driveway.

I have the 7000lb extended length model and it isn't light, about 100lbs per unit, but it has wheels on one end and can be rolled around pretty easily, except for the length makes tight turns a bit difficult. The hydraulic hoses have quick connects and don't leak any fluid when connecting or disconnecting. It lifts 24" I think and I use the truck adapters which also give a few extra inches. It's hard to tell, but there is about a full foot under the tires and almost 30" from the ground to the bottom of the oil pan.

I still hate having to get up and down on a creeper, I'm getting too old, lol
