Here's a good one:

- Placed an order with a dealer August 2021, I was proactive with them asking for updates monthy and trying to get the national contraints spreadsheet as much as possible to share here
- Last communication I had with this dealer was May 2022, when they said I was next in line.
- 8 months later, yesterday the order manager emails me saying the stars have aligned for my order, but they still couldn't get airride/max-tow packages. To me, that's not the stars aligning on a 80k truck. Hahaha

I responded back letting them know I found a dealer to get my full specs allocation and I've had a rig for months. I mentioned with their lack of communication with me, I figured they just cancelled my order with the model year change over. They seemed like decent people but really left a bad taste in my mouth on the customer service side to where I won't go to them in the future.

7 months after submitting an order for a Yukon XL Denali my salesman called today to tell me that it had finally been built and is now awaiting shipment! It's been quite the roller coaster ride over the past 7 months from looking country wide to try and find something available right away, to considering dropping trim levels to an AT4 or SLT, or going up to an Ultimate, to considering other makes, to dropping packages and options that initially were non negotiable, to considering giving up all together. Now I just have to wait for my Titanium Rush Denali to arrive!

I ordered my Yukon Denali Duramax 2wd two months ago. I received this email today.

“I'm excited to inform you that your order has been accepted for production. You will continue to receive updates from me via text. This email is simply to provide you with a copy of your accepted build.”

He estimates a mid May delivery date to me.
Does that seem accurate?

Depends on your location and distance from your local rail yard hub. I'm located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and my dealers Yukon orders have been arriving three weeks after they are built. So take your TPW and add 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Got an update from my dealer. Constraints are still showing on Max trailer and Advanced Tech/Reserve Packages. System has timeline of April. If I dropped those options I could place the order immediately for my XL Denali 3.0 Dmax. I'm holding out and waiting on the tech packages with hope the constraints drop sooner rather than later.

My Yukon XL Denali Ultimate with 3.0L diesel order was entered for this exact production period (3/20-3/26) and I just found out today that it got bumped up to 3/6. Anyone else in this production period?

Will keep the group posted!

Just ordered an Yukon SLT Duramax,
SLT Luxury package,
4WD, Sliding console. Tricoat paint. dealer still showed delays on max trailer so scrapped that option.

What are people seeing for Duramax availability? I'm planning to order a '23 Yukon XL with DM and the dealer is saying its almost impossible to get one, thinking about 12mo. out...

Based on that latest constraint screenshot, the diesel is no longer on constraint. I've been waiting over a year for my diesel order to get accepted and my buddy's Suburban diesel order has been waiting almost 5 months. Both of our orders got accepted within the last three weeks. It may have something to do with the Sierra plant getting idled for a few weeks.
