I never get upgraded to anything much nicer… I had a little Mazda G6 once that was ok. One of my best rentals was a Hyundai Sonata maybe seven years ago. I beat that thing hard in Boston rush hour traffic for a few days. Was a quick car with a v6 in it. That was crazy driving.

I won't let a rental co or my insurance put me in a small car.
Got a free upgrade to a challenger that way.
Started when they tried to stick me in a compact.
I sat down, adjusted the seat.
Readjusted.
Got back out and told them nope!
My car was a full size.
They asked me what one i wanted, while i was staring at the challenger...
Him: you want the challenger huh.
Me: maybe...
Him: yeah the insurance has to cover it since its our only full sized car.
Me: hooked.
I loved that thing
Decided i needed something fun afterwards.
Few months later i brought home the project vette.
Got a free upgrade to a challenger that way.
Started when they tried to stick me in a compact.

I am going to try to push for a challenger one of these times. Had a new charger once and loved that car. It was a v6 too.
I used to rent cars every week, so upgrades were standard fare. One of the most memorable was surprisingly a Ford F-150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost. I was blown away by the torque and zero turbo lag of that little V6. I don't want one for the long-term maintenance headaches, but I was impressed with the performance. Every now and then I'd get a nice Caddy and in Germany once I got an Audi Q7 with the 3.7 TDi. Holy mother of God that was a fast SUV. 180 mph on the Autobahn felt like a Sunday drive in that thing.

'20 Muffstain Ecoboost. Was quite surprised by its performance. I tested EVERYTHING, including the track mode with factory line lock with and without launch control. I even tested how easily they swapped ends by powerbraking then doing a donut in front of my shop at home. The driveway is 30' wide at that point and it stayed on the concrete.
What I did to my GMT900 today: Replaced the aspirator fan then started on redoing my grounds to route the 1/0 cable through the RVC sensor. Currently under a rain delay to finish.

I don't know man I stole a straight 6 maxima once, 5 speed, that thing cruised like butter at 140 and had lots more to go, kinda want to get a legit one someday but there isn't many around in fact there almost impossible to find.

Changed 7 out of 8 plugs today. Ran out of time to get to number 8. Thats gonna be a absolute pain in the ass. I cant wait!! Driver side plugs looked like crap. Its also the side im getting some sort of noise on...fearing its the lifter failure. Passenger side plugs all looked decent enough for 90k, but definitely time to go. After plugs, the noise seems to be less and only when revving down towards idle. its kinda hard to hear at times. E85 also seems to have helped with it.

I always get full-size suv or premium suv. Yukon's mostly. Had an expedition max in 2019 I think. It was niceThe few times I’ve rented it’s always been Chevys.

Got a new maf sensor. Replaced the Delco with a Delphi. And the flex fuel sensing has not gotten better. Nearly at the end of another tank of e85, and it's reading below 60% and still dropping.
Now I'm thinking the exhaust leak is between the manifold and the cat. Somehow maybe I didn't get the gasket in the flange correctly before bolting it? It's not a bad leak, but it's definitely audible on cold start, and you can hardly hear anything once it's warm.

Always start with number 8.
meh, use a couple of right adapters and #8 is a piece of cake, I have a small 1/4" ratchet with a rotating head I just use a couple short adapters and angle the ratchet on there and slip a pipe over the end and it comes right out

Using a spark plug socket? The kind with the hex flats on the back end? Stick that on the plug and use a wrench or ratchet with regular/short socket on those flats. Nuttin to it.

True story!
Here’s my combo for #8. It works perfect, try it. It’s a regular depth 3/4” socket on the 5/8” plug socket. It’s the perfect length.
