I do mean Brembos. I only mentioned that in regards to the naysayers saying you need an entire new brake system because the pedal won’t feel good and the power brakes won’t work.

I test fitted the 21 calipers on my Yukon and the wheels don’t even come close to fitting and the ridge isn’t even the problem. These calipers are just super wide and since the rotor isn’t much bigger than stock they’re so close to the hub where room is tight with a concave wheel.

My calipers should arrive today.

I'll post up some pics later of what I'm working with here

The 2021 Tahoe shares the same front caliper as the silverado.
If the 2017 front wheel spindle is the same as the 2021 Tahoe it should bolt right up.
I would say you have a high probability.
Thank you for the info

91RS what size wheel did you try.and where did they hit on the barrel or face?

22” Snowflakes, the 22” 6 spoke black wheels, and 22” 19 Escalade Sport package wheels.

2012. Not interested in having the wheels stick out passed the fenders.

Like this?
This popping clutches kid on youtube is funny. They rig up some wild Tahoes.

There's bound to be wheel fitment issues with different calipers and rotors
On the first page of this post there's a guy who got to work on it work on a 99 sierra with 18" later MY silverado wheels....24 offset? I think?

Just gotta find what works.

Here is the '19 silverado caliper I bought last year for R&D. Hit it with a 40 grit flapper wheel to clearance it to fit

So if I drop ship a set to you, you can shave, smooth and powder coat them for me?

That would be awesome. What would be your price on that?

I could do that yes. Let me get the price on powder and supplies and we can go from there

OK,
Since nobody here has popped these on yet I decided to test fit the calipers on my 03 Tahoe.
I suspected my Z71 wheels wouldn't fit and needed a test wheel with a high probability of success.
So I finally convinced this guy who sells wheels on craigslist to let me borrow one of his 19+ Silverado wheels...18x8.5 26 offset.
Sellers on Craigslist are so untrusting....did he think I was going to steal one wheel from him? I had to give him $40...Sheesh

So, Rotor and caliper went on easy peasy.....used (2) 1/2 washers from home depot code AGB for spacers on top bolt and bottom.
25 cents each, no stainless or hardened available. I recommend hardened. With the two washers it lined up the caliper perfectly over the rotor.
Here are the pictures.

03 Z71 did not clear the caliper and didn't have a spacer to check. It did clear the barrel so a small spacer will work.
19 Silverado wheel worked with 1/2 inch clearance....see pics. I suspect any wheel that came on 19+ silverado will work or any aftermarket wheel that fits a
19+ Silverado without needing a spacer will work.
My 19 Suburban RST 22 inch wheel cleared easy. But I'm not putting 22s on my Tahoe.

Here are the PICs

Yes, any wheel from a T1 which is: 19+ Silverado or Sierra or 21+ Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, or Escalade will clear these brakes (even the 17” steelies) as they all come with these brakes. Some of the K2 20” wheels will work but I don’t think any of the 22” wheels will work because they’re all pretty concave. I doubt any 800 or 900 wheels will clear.

I'm was interested in this wheel....rhino Primm.
But now I know....I'll order it for a 2020 Silverado not for a 2003 Tahoe....the offsets are different.

But now I might go with more of a spoke based wheels now to show-off the caliper. Like the Silverado wheel but some tougher.
