So, I’m not sure what’s going on with my transmission. It seems to “grab and let go” repeatedly; almost like surging. This happens at low speed (5mph) and light throttle and when the trans is cold or been sitting for a while.

I’m at 138k miles. Only maintenance done to the trans was a full fluid replacement and filter change. It was not “backflushed”.

What joys await me?

Mine's done that since I bought it at 98k miles. I thought it was normal.

So I finally got around to getting a bluetoof fm transmitter, and when i was connecting it to my phone i saw one for a gm hands free connection. It asked for a pin and i dont have one. Before i go finding out the pin can i play music over this or is it just for a phone call ?

Try "0000" or "1234".

If you have Bluetooth in your 2010, I’m pretty sure it’s just for calls. That’s what our 2013 is. Your FM transmitter is a separate deal and once connected to your phone, just set the frequency and tune your radio in. The FM transmitter that we got my son for Christmas also works for hands free calling.

So I assume since your sig says 2010, you have the 6 speed?

It could be a slight miss causing it, or your valve body needs some service.
the pressure switches usually need to be rebuilt or the techm (control computer) replaced.

There are also lots of improvements for the valve body while you have it out...

How handy are you? :)

I did mine proactively after doing a bunch of reading about the 6 speed...
then tuned the converter lockup out of the lower gears via hp tuners.

Don't forget the use/misuse of "its" "it's." https://www.grammarly.com/blog/its-vs-its/ Makes me cringe.
While that one is cringe worthy, I often find it easier to ignore based on the fact that most people don’t know the difference and because I’ve found autocorrect changing mine to the incorrect usage of the word more often than I probably realize. Butt yess, eye feal you’re payne.
It hurt my pride just typing that last sentence.

Have you exhausted any other options that it might be? Not saying your trans couldn’t benefit from a flush, but you could have some other underlying issues needing addressed as well. Nothing worse than doing all the work on something only to clean it up, reassemble and find it doing the SAME DAMN THING it was doing before. So frustrating!

Unplug your battery, clean up the MAF sensor and the throttle body. If you do the latter just make sure the batter has been disconnected for 10-15min so you don’t end up having to pay the stealership for a throttle relearn.

One last post before I start work remodeling this bathroom so I can get this damn house sold.

Does anyone have any tips, tricks or pointers on installing an OEM exhaust clamp? I’m referring to where the “flex” pipe attaches to the cat, just after the center crossmember. I’m trying to get that SOB tightened down far enough to start threading the bolt. If I gets to the point, I’m tempted to use some clamps and a larger bolt to help draw it together.

New exhaust manifold - installed
New spark plugs - installed
New wire loom and heat wrap installed
New trans dipstick tube wrapped and installed
Coils cleaned and remounted

All fluids drained from the Denali. Tonight hopefully I will get new fluids added back in along with replacing the rear diff cover on my Yukon with a new “Yukon” rear diff cover.
Then it’s time to route and plug in all the electrical, those o2 sensors I had dangling from the fenders, trim, and wheels. Then once it’s on the ground and level I’ll assemble the front end.

go to the felpro website and look up your vehicle
That's how i found the gaskets i needed.
Amazons part lookup engine is all retarded sometimes.
All the time. Their shit is so messed up nothing matches my Denali. Especially a 6.2l with the small rear end. You’d think I Frankensteined my Yuk together based off the Amazon database.

Yup. I had no issues with the OEM one. The Eagle Eye one started working out of its groove in less than a week. I tried to glue it in at the ends because that's where it would first try to pop out. But I couldn't get it to stay. I removed the flap from my OEM wing and installed it into the EE one. But it wouldn't stay, either. So I've been running without ever since. The only consequence that I can see is that more dirt washes into the space between the hatch sheet metal and the weather seal. It doesn't leak, or seem to allow any more road or wind noise in. Still, I'd rather have the flap than not. The one I ordered comes with a flap. Hopefully it's in good shape, so I don't have to touch it.

Mine sags in the middle.
