The US education system has failed this country since the 1970’s. So before anyone wants to argue that both are correct, please feel free to take any one of the physics classes I teach

So what you're saying is that you are part of the problem [emoji848]

I think I made that mistake when I did the knock sensors on the 05 when I went to put the intake back on I mistakenly read 80 inch lbs as ft lbs and yep snapped a bolt off in the head lol, it was a matter of not paying attention to the chart and going hmmm this seems wrong "snap" fuuuuck.
how much is that delco 3/8" drive?

Appologies for the late reply, my “hours of op” are probably a bit different than most of you guys.

Looks like it’s actually under $100 now on Amazon. Don’t let any reviews sway you, I shopped around for months looking for a digital torque that worked for both smaller precision fasteners like you mentioned and everyday stuff like oil plugs, trans pan, diff cover...etc. I think putting hands on a lot of them helped to narrow it down. I’d say for me personally, in addition to the fit & feel, I’d say for me personally the build, screen clarity and ease of use were the other key factors that set the ACDelco above the others. Turns out a few months after purchasing it, that specific model ended up being one of the top 3 digital torque wrenches of the year. Anyways, here’s the link:

Whenever it’s time to replace my old craftsman twist & lock torque wrenches I’m going with this precision instrument model.

They're failing elementary English, too.

*you're
Oh Jesus. I would have to blame the constant lag I have when using this site on my phone, or autocorrect when something like that slips by. That’s one of the grammar items that drives my ocd a little nuts. The problem always seems to be “your, their, to”.
Have you ever tried to decipher a text message from a teenager? I speak English, Russian and Japanese. None of which helped me with that madness...seem as though it was a mix of hieroglyphics and hooked on Ebonics.

My suggestion would be to look and see if you have voltage at the connector at the top of your tailgate.

I would check it sooner rather than later because they had a TSB out for the Liftgate falling down on people. Some issue with the wiring in the headliner getting pinched. Damn thing came down on me last winter as I was grabbing tools out of the back. Would have like to knock my ass out, but I felt it in time to duck out of the way. The bottom of the Liftgate door trim hit my back and it opened back up, then decided to close again before it fully reached the top. Scary thing to happen if someone didn’t know how to react or walked into the corner of it at night.

I have the AC delco torque adapters, both in 3/8 and 1/2in.
I love em.
A little bulky for some things, but handy to have around.

And years ago i picked up a little craftsman torque wrench, i got inch lbs and ft lbs mixed up.
Buying the inch lb/NM version by accident.
Best mistake i have ever made, i do google conversions if i need ft lbs.
IIRC it's max is just under 18ft lbs.

Perfect for transmission tasks, and most of the DOD delete task i did over the past few weekends.

And i used the grommets in a felpro upper kit i bought, it has only been a few days but so far so good... :)
I did grease them up pretty good in order to get them to seat into the valve cover.
Time will tell how good i did.
Do you happen to have the part number for that felpro kit?

I would have to be a teacher in the US and teach primary/grade school kids. Do they even teach physics courses in the US to younger students...outside of those taught at the university/college level?

Don't forget the use/misuse of "its" "it's." https://www.grammarly.com/blog/its-vs-its/ Makes me cringe.

I hv a teen so ik wt ur tlkn abt

What baffles me is it's not just the current generation. Many people my age or older fail at those and even "are" vs. "or". That one, I just can't understand. They don't spell nor sound the same, nor do they share even the slightest of their meanings. Yet, "are" has replaced "or". Try speaking it- you'll sound like a pirate.

Oh, to get back on subject, I still haven't done anything with my NNBS GMT900 Tahoe today.

I have to admit that I constantly stumble on this one. Apparently, for almost 30 years, I've misunderstood a simple trick to knowing which to use.

The only time one needs an apostrophe in the word is to contract "it is." "Its" is naturally possessive, so the apostrophe is not needed. "Its apostrophe is not needed."

Save the apostrophes! Won't be long until we run out of them.... ;)

Yeah, I'm still confused with that one and I probably **** it up every time...

I'm just dumb I think. I still don't get it lol

Aaaand that's my misunderstanding that I need to break. I swear what I was taught was that the apostrophe showed possession. Or, as I recall the "trick" to knowing, was that "If whatever 'it' is has something, then 'it' also will have an apostrophe."

So, it's accurate to say that its use of the contraction in question in this sentence is correct, yes?
