I scared cause I bought my 07 and had to replace motor cause 2 were bad on passages side. And still can’t get codes yo clear with new coils. And all 4 02 sensors

Those four screw go all the way in and stop when they don’t turn anymore.

Not's not how it was with my situation. My cage wouldn't even move. I had to back the screws out a little to get the spring action back.

Those screws are shoulder screws and have a torx head. T15 or 20. They stop when tight. There is a spring on each between the horn depress and a plastic collar. That is the only moving part in the horn. If the bottom copper piece isn’t seated the correct way it will make contact with the horn.

this is how my wheel was assembled when I swapped the wheel.

Took valve covers off. Broken exhaust valve spring. And broke the wire to inspect plugs. Just gonna replace wires and plugs while I’m at it. I’m guessing I have the outdated valve cover. What do you guys suggest on what valve springs to replace and plugs.

Also any suggestions on how to replace them. Gonna research YouTube and such. Any tools to make it better, whatever info you got is appreciated.

Yeah I hate that ******* piece that breaks off when you remove the spark plug wires. I just did mine and half of them broke like that.

5w30 whatever the chevy dealer was using. Was doing that for the bs warranty I bought for service records but now I'll be doing it myself.

175k on motor

And about 3k or 3 months. I knew to keep the oil clean for the afm. I have the range in it since at least 5 months ago.

See there?! And you were about to drag it to a shop far away. You can fix this. Tedious and painfully repetitive, but relatively easy. You're one lucky mofo!

Get you some new OEM ACDelco Original (not "AC Delco Professional" and SURELY not "AC Delco Advantage") wires. I concur with getting the "LS6" valve springs. They're the across-the-board go-to for GM. Stock spark plugs (41-110, I think)- no reason at all for anything exotic. You do have the older style cover- do you keep track of how much oil, if any, your engine consumes? The updated cover as well as a catch can is highly recommended. Most any of the ~$15 ones on Amazon are just fine. Some come with a stainless scrubber pad in them now. If not, add one. No need for the $100+ ones.

Synthetic. Same oil used in my wife's equinox that requires the dexos oil.
