This is the one by the crank sensor and balancer?
Yes. The ground for the crankshaft sensor is also on the stud. Need to disconnect the crank sensor connector and move the wire as it's in the way

It's basically the main ground off the battery. I've cleaned up most of the others but until I did this one it hadn't made much difference as the others were 'downstream'.

Battery terminal > Front engine block
Rear engine block > Frame
Frame > Firewall
is the flow and all the main grounds that I'm aware of. There are probably a couple more

Updates on the tahoe, full clean of the interior, the seats don't work, so they need to get fix, also the leather of the steering wheel is crap, doing a refresh there too, also I put on new kicker speakers in all corners and a 12" kicker subwoofer, the back speakers are 6x9s, we cut the plates to fit them, also the roof is sealed now, more water in.

More photos this weekend

Awesome ! The pics reminded me of my 2 door. Gutted it down to bare metal a few years ago. Lots of work but it'll be worth it!

Wish I had fluffy looking carpet. Same interior and color as mine. Enjoy.

I had no choice but to buy all new carpet, the interior on mine was so nasty when I got it I felt like I needed a tetanus shot after pulling that mess out! Lol!!

Painted my rusty roof. Wire brushed the rust. Hit with rust converter primer then sanded and painted with rustoleum turbo. Better than rust! Hopefully looks decent in the sunlight.

Replaced all rear brake components and flushed the fluid. I'd forgotten what a PIA it is and it took me a lot longer than I planned. Pedal feels a bit firmer even though I still haven't adjusted them up properly yet, foot brake is still low. The fluid had gone a funky shade of green. No more sticking caliper, and no more squeaks I hope.

Working on wife’s econo-car which hits the wall of the garage. Randomly shuts off when turning right and has a fuel pump DTC. I told her to just make left turns.

I’m sure there’s a correlation somewhere, but I’m used to working on my 400s and don’t know where anything is on it so it isn’t fun anymore.

Just changed my thermostat as I didn't like the way it was operating. Would hit 200-210 depending on how I was driving, and then drop down to 170-180 and stay there. I had replaced the original with an aftermarket about 5 years ago along with an aluminum 3 pass rad, water pump etc. I decided to get a OEM Delco rated at 198 supposedly. But now operating temp on my gauge with the new 198 stat is showing 160. At least it seems to be steady at 160. But now I'm really confused. Pretty obvious the gauge is out but... Is this one bad? Was I way too hot before? It's not what I was expecting to happen.
