if you change the intake manifold to a 6.2l (on the nnbs) then you can run the ls3/ls7 throttle body, not sure if the wire harness is different or not for the tbGood stuff! Guess he doesn’t make one for the old 5.3 [emoji53]

I have an NBS, so sounds like I’d need to look into other options.. oh well, just means I need a new intake as well, right..?

I remember those. I also remember reading if the customer had a drivetrain related issue, the dealer wasn't allowed to touch it. They were supposed to yank and ship the entire motor back to Lotus. Anyone else remember that?A little known fact, that was the engine designed by Lotus, built by Mercury in Stillwater and used in the FIRST ZR-1 in the C4 for 1989. 405 HP 5.7 liters.
I know its not a Yukon/Tahoe... but I cleaned the TB on our 2006 Chev Trailblazer L6 4200. It had a bad idle would stumble etc.
Here is b4. pic
After cleaning on the vehicle w/ TB cleaner old toothbrush, leaning over etc. and using a rag.....
Smooth idle , no surge, etc.
Denali is next....View attachment 249829
I used a toothbrush because plastic bristles just get combusted. Since i did it on the vehicle no metal bristles. 219k miles on this old bear. Owes us nothing
