What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I quit!! This stupid truck!! Some kind of gunk is in the damn ac system and when we pulled my orifice tube, this rubber like looking stuff was all over it. Vacuumed it down and then it wouldn't hold a vacuum. For s&g tried to add refrigerant. Nope, wasn't having it. After a confab with some techs (Tim's old racing crew) the consensus is the gunk infiltrated the new orifice. So I either need a flush, we keep cycling through orifice tubes until the gunk is out or I just let it sit for a bit because I'm work from home until 5/31.

Did get my visors installed. Damn...they pretty

I charged up the battery and fired her up after sitting for a year. She fired up on the first try so I'm both happy and surprised at the same time.

My ac got charged in Betty today. The gauges we had were bad. Took the freon and now she's cold again! And it stormed really bad here last night, no leaks!!! Today is a good day.

Installed new wiper blades, replaced radiator cap, scraped off some old stickers from the windows, and last but definitely not least was I retrofitted a new to my Tahoe overhead console. I NOW HAVE MAP LIGHTS I CAN USE! It wass thetthe you see on the seat

And they aren't ours, it's the shop set so we don't have to replace them I'm just stoked my ac is back. And the compressor is so much quieter than the last one!

I have a 99 Tahoe LT 4dr 4wd with the barn doors and 5.7/4L60E combo pushing 274.5k miles

I put all this in my signature area but for some reason the signature never shows up for me. Lol

What I did yesterday was put in a lower 180° thermostat as the temps were to close to the 210° mark for my liking ... And while replacing the T-Stat I ran into a wee bit of Black RTV from a previous replacement from a PO

Not sure why they did it. All I know is I found it so I fixed it.
