Sounds so good. I love this thing!

Side note. Do you ever tow a trailer? With the blower and the low and sway bars and yada yada it would be a killer tow rig.
I used to but I sold the trailer. It was an enclosed 8 x 16 that I bought to haul my Harleys in. With the auto level rear shocks it was awesome. I hauled about 2 tons of yard debris in it once and it towed like a dream, and I was running 26’s then. I also have had 6 adults and hundreds of pounds of gear in it and on top of it and it hauled ass.

I bet it does! I'm really impressed with the 5 link set up and how well this chassis handles more than it was built for in power and load! :burnout:

Glad you got the trans back in! Truck sounds real mean!! I like it!
Thanks Chase. Well it looks like the reservoir tank for my intercooler has developed a leak. I don’t even know for how long, I haven’t checked the coolant level in it for at least a year, maybe two. I only thought about it because @Bombsquad85 saw it in my video and asked what it was which brought my attention to it. I added 1.5 quarts to the system and then noticed fluid on the concrete after a drive. It was nearly where the ac drips condensation on our trucks so maybe I didn’t notice the leak before because I thought that’s what it was. So I contacted Whipple to see about buying a new tank. And of course it’s been changed to a “Filler T” and to swap over it’s a measly $125. Plus shipping. I’m gonna pull the tank and see if I can fix it. It’s a slow drip so it might be hard to find or fix. I got 3 drips after the truck was running for 15 minutes.

I just recorded a video of it reviving , just because. My neighbors now hate me lol. I noticed it’s smoking a bit but my last report from Blackstone doesn’t show anything wearing bad so I guess I’m not gonna worry. It does burn a bit of oil but what LS doesn’t?

edit: the muffler is an Aero Turbine.

I played the video for my boys last night and now my wife is mad at me because the boys have been badgering her about making her Yukon sound like yours. Thought you would like to know that you are having a positive influence on the next generation.:driver:

Maybe you can soray the entire tank with Flex seal.

I have some Lord Fusor plastic repair epoxy, it’s the best stuff I have found. I found out about it from the bike builders when I cut my Harley fairing and raked it so my headlight wasn’t pointed at the sky when I raked the bike for a 28” front wheel. It had to be the best to hold that plastic together with the way a Harley shakes and vibrates. It never cracked or showed any sign of weakness. My issue I think is finding the leak, it looks like it’s coming from one of the mounting holes and only leaks, barely a drip, when it heats up and the system is under pressure. Whipple said it’s pressurized at 5-8 psi. I’ll know more tomorrow when I pull it off. I forgot to go pick up my 05 hatch glass today so I’m gonna do that tomorrow before I pull the reservoir.

Throw a little air pressure in it and soap it.

Since you didn't know the exact location of the leak, that's why I suggested the spray Flex seal. You could just spray the entire bottle a few times. A cover all.

No thanks, I’m not using some hokey stuff like that. I don’t mean to offend at all Tony, but I just can’t do that kind of repair. It reminds me of how my dad used to fix shit, and it was always a joke bless his soul. If I can’t fix it right I’ll just buy the kit from Whipple. The problem I think I’ll have with finding the leak is first, I have to seal the inlet and outlet holes somehow, then find a way to add air pressure but not too much. If it’s too much hassle I don’t mind spending money, I just won’t until I know it’s the best way to fix this. I almost just ordered the kit today but figured I would at least give it a go.

ya you could fill it with air and put it in a tub of water, like checking for a leak in a tire, I would try to repair it from the inside, maybe once you locate the precise spot, rotate the tank so that the crack is the very bottom and pour some epoxy inside so it fills in that particular spot, effectively sealing it. just an idea

Why did you add Flex Tape? Fusor doesn’t need that. I used their 142 Plastic Repair on my custom cluster bezel for structural and their 114LG Finishing for feathering. And I have bent and twisted that with no cracking or separation. The stuff is awesome.

Got the hatch glass. Returned the hatch glass. Ordered another hatch glass. I don’t know how LKQ makes any money.
