I'd rather have the cold then the hot!!
Its and interesting thing. When it’s below 35 I am good down to the mid teens without using heat in the garage and will spend a couple hours outside tinkering. When it gets to between 35 and 50 I get chilled and pissed off at the weather. I am good with it here until the end of February. After that I am DONE with it. Spring here sucks in my opinion and if we get an east wind off lake Michigan it is bone chilling. I am usually not happy again until June.

Yep! Done a lot of stuff on the car in the garage when it’s below freezing. Below 0, that’s another thing. Guess it’s just part of life here in Iowa and the Midwest in general. I’ll let the car run a little to warm up the engine bay. That residual heat does wonders.

Don’t have to slap mosquitoes in the winter.

F winter. I HATE the cold, maybe because I work outside. I’m glad we don’t see many days below freezing here and snow every 2-3rd winter. It’s pretty mild here.

Anyway....tada. It’s done. Finished everything except the skid plates and I can’t do those until I move the front jack stands. Filled it with fluid, hooked up the battery and started it up and tested it while still on the stands. It’s getting kinda dark so I’ll drop it down tomorrow morning and test drive it. Yay!:)

I installed the skid plates and took the pressure washer to the entire truck- undercarriage, engine bay, exterior etc. then dropped it onto the ground and went for a drive. Everything is good. I notice the 1-2 shift isn’t as harsh so I’ll thinking they did something to their in-house shift kit to make that transition a bit more forgiving. Nothing else was changed as far as the tune or converter so obviously Performabuilt did something. I’ll ask them. Anyway here’s a walkaround after the interior cleanup. Zoomed on the freshly painted exterior handles but forgot about the engraving in the Elite Engineering catchcan where it says “ THE BEAST” lol.

Yeah- they unclogged the fluid passage so the servo can operate properly and cushion the shift. :p

Sounds so good. I love this thing!

Side note. Do you ever tow a trailer? With the blower and the low and sway bars and yada yada it would be a killer tow rig.
