Noticed that it will yell at you if you keep your turn signal on!

Coming home from work today I turned left onto a road that is more like 145* at the intersection (not enough of a turn to automatically shut off the turn signal) and about 1/4-1/2 mile later heard the dash dinging and looked down at the DIC and it said something like "Turn signal still activated" or something like that.

First time that's happened and I did not know it did that
Now everybody go try it! Turn signals on guys!

Yeah my NBS does that too. I was on an off ramp moving slow as hell, and I heard the noise, looked down to see the turn signal warning. [emoji23]

First time I experienced that was after making a shallow turn in my S10. It scared me cuz it's the same warning tone as everything else, including low oil level or pressure. I thought I was overheating or lost my oil pressure. They should have softer warning tones for the non-critical items and save the DEFCON 1 alarms for things like low oil/pressure, danger to manifold, etc.

Oil change over the weekend. 230k and 5k intervals, this is all that was in the catch can.

Replaced with K&N filter and 10w30 full synthetic Supertech.

That’s quite a bit of nastiness.
I really need to get a coil to put in the filter slot on mine. I have a feeling I may also need to loctite the threads to keep it from rattling out. I have a feeling that it will catch a bit more stuff once the coil is installed. The stuff mine seems to catch is fuel/oil vapor, not much actual oil.
