well im going to keep an eye on it for sure, I need to pick up a thermometer and check the cat's at least that's easy enough

You should be able to see the temps of the cats by viewing the live data from the O2 sensors.... just a thought.... the infrared thermometer would probably be more accurate though.

ya those little clips for oil cooler & trans cooler lines sure do like to vanish pretty easy, but found them all eventually. attached a drain line this time since the radiator has a drain **** that gm in there great wisdom did away with.

The new radiator didn’t come with new clips installed? My AC Delco came with them. I did lose one of the originals and had new ones but didn’t need them.
Edit: where did you attach a drain line to if there’s no drain ****?

ya, I meant the ones I had to pull off to get the lines out, pulled them off and lost 3 of the 4 initially, found 2 after I got the radiator out and the last one was under the truck in a crack in the cement. I just didn't want one to end up where it shouldn't be

the company that makes this radiator added a drain ****, you cant really see it in the photo it is behind the lower oil cooler line, got it from 1-800-radiator w/lifetime nationwide warranty, the oem one started leaking right after I bought the truck and then the first one from 1-800 made it 2yrs, we'll see how long this one makes it at least they stood by there warranty and delivered it my house for free

Saw a lifted Suburban (~6") and wanted more lift.

Looked great but impractical for family duties.

no idea but no codes and I've checked everything basically, fuel trims are good, fuel pressure is good, no misfires, no leaks, nothing has changed but the mpg

Crappy gas? For the past week or so, my work van is suddenly getting 2-3 MPG worse and I've made no changes.

Mine is getting almost 2 mpg better!

Most likely due to the last two fill ups have been with 93 octane and not E85 because of lower prices
