Body seals are super easy to do, I thought I was going to have fight them, lol the whole piece just sits In a slot from the bottom of the front window to the top of the rear door, the rear door section is the only part with any adhesive

Have you driven it yet... do you notice any difference in road/wind noise?

Did you buy from that CO dealer guy?
no he seems to have dipped out, I got them from the dealer here for the same price I would have paid from him plus shipping, they said his prices were good though they wouldn't match it but they were close I get fleet pricing from the chevy dealer here.

Replaced the end links with the heavy duty mevotech ttx, they sure do squish down, lol instructions said torque to 20lbs, it was either these or get the rough country sleeves. I figure there better than plastic anyway. The factory links weigh 1lb 7oz, these weigh 1lb 2.2oz, so there cant be a whole lot more to them

When you rent a car, do you ever look at the names of phones that people have sync’d to the car? I have seen some very interesting ones. I always try and delete my phone before returning as I don’t know what kind of contact info gets saved.

I do this! lol
My phone's name is "Remote Detonator" ......I like to send messages to fellow seatmates while flying the friendly sky's:)

......Next you'll tell me Im NOT the original inventor of THIS!.....o_O

My B-n-L named his phone “Your Master”. One time after he borrowed my truck my wife noticed “Your Master” on the list of phones and was very curious.

Once I old him her reaction, he said he has made it a point of changing it when ever he rents or borrows a car to some goofy stuff just to mess with people.

I find that I don't use CP really much at all now. I thought it was cool in the beginning but there isn't much it does for me that the head unit (in my non-Tahoe) doesn't already do while using Bluetooth or plugging the phone in. But I'm sure it may benefit others who use it differently.

My first experience with CP was the exact same as yours. Plugged my phone in to a rental that had it.

I'm sure your Genesis already has it's own system sporting the latest features, so CarPlay isn't such a big deal. The little taste I got of it was exciting. As Mark mentioned, it's basically like having your phone mounted on your dash in a full tablet size and Siri could handle pretty much anything I'd want with very little input (read: "distraction") from me. Intuitive control is why I can't migrate from the Apple format. For my antiquated '08, the little things captivate me and they'll continue to for a long time since I rarely drive it.

The new interface has a control bar across the the bottom, so if you are in nav it has music control stop/play/ffw etc, and a quick notification button (the bell) then if you are in music it has a button back to nav, in the main menu your most recent used apps will be shown at the top

Seems like it might be a little bit quieter, can still hear wind at 90 though, lol the borla muffler isn't all that quiet so it's really hard to say how much it may have helped, my goal was to just not have ratty rubber that was coming apart mostly around the rear drivers door pieces were just tearing/falling off, the outer part of the seal is pretty thin and "C" shaped instead of being a full "O" it was probably there way of saving cost on rubber so it wears out faster

Where did you get your new seals from? What was the damage for them?

EDIT: Never mind I saw the posts and my answers were there. Nice pics of your work Doubeleive thanks.

I have to ask, but where do you drive 90mph at, haha? I'd be afraid of getting tagged by a cop at that speed. It's not hard to miss a big SUV hurtling down the highway going 20 + over the limit, lol
