This is a new mod I'm not yet familiar with.... "Retrofitting"

I can appreciate this type of work, very crafty I must say. Don't know that I'll ever do this, but I enjoy seeing these kind of projects.

It really helps tremendously, the light output is so much more controlled and distributed you can see everything you ever wanted. Safely and without blinding other drivers too.

I have a quad retrofit on mine. 4 bi-xenon hid projectors. 4 lows and 4 highs.

Go ahead and do it. If your like me you'll wish you'd have done it years sooner. Completely agree with Shawn the output is so much more and allows you to see things that you weren't able to without blinding others.

Man I was reading this and was thinking about doing this. Do the pictures not work at all for anyone else or is it just me?

The pics don't work, but this thread is about trying to retrofit projectors into the headlight housings. That's how they originally had to do it 10 years ago when they made this thread..

Now we just modify with ready made brackets. Instead of all that custom cutting and fitting, its now just a few screws with a custom made bracket...

Dang thanks man. I bought these projectors with hopes to update the projectors as I could afford them. bd055f315c6fbd69d60b78a60c95181b.jpg

Sorry the pics aren't working anymore. My Photobucket got hacked a while back.

It's still a solid retrofit, mine is still running strong with excellent light, but as mentioned, there are now easier ways to get it done.

FWIW, I got some high quality, high-output LED bulbs for the high beams that put out a ton of light. Highly recommend if you drive back roads at night.

Do you have a link to those? I'm also looking for a reliable h1 hid the ones I got are 55w but having trouble with the drivers side ballast turning every time first time. It will come on eventually if you turn it on and off. So I need new hids high and low I guess mine are h1 low and whatever stick low beans are for highs. I think 9005. Or should I upgrade projector and is whatever new bulb that has?
