AC Delco or NGK. Whichever ones you get, be sure they are legitimate. If they're half-priced on Amazon or ebay, they're likely counterfeit and of very poor quality. I got a set of NGK off ebay since they were a good price, the seller had good ratings and he posted high quality pics of the actual plugs and their boxes for sale. You have to know what you're looking at, but you can spot the counterfeits if you compare them to the legit ones.

I have seen those "half priced" ones on ebay. Was always skeptical of ordering plugs on line and have never done it. Get them from a auto store so you know what your getting is the real deal.

Yes. It's a bigger issue than most know about. The same goes for many other parts. Considering that spark plugs are something you'll likely replace only once under your ownership of the vehicle, is it really worth the risk to save a couple of bucks? You're screwing something into your engine that will be in direct contact with the very core of where all the magic happens. That $20 you saved could cost you thousands.

I was avoiding this thread because i havent put that many miles on my tahoe since i bought it from the dealership. But, i dont know for a fact that they did plugs on it now that i think about it. Guess that goes on the list for when it warms up again.

NGK Iridium. Don't really have anything to say on the things other than they work.

Get some feeler gauges to gap though. The little coin looking gap thing you can get at the register for 2 bucks doesn't work worth a shit IMO. And no, they aren't gapped out of the package. Spec 'em. Just don't scuff the center electrode. If you need to increase the gap, scoot the ground electrode like you would a bottle opener - not by prying between it and the positive pin

AC Delco's, and I jumped a heat range to try and help with the plug fouling on #6.
