So, if anyone gives a shit and noticed I haven't been on lately...there's a reason. I stripped everything off the frame of my truck for a fresh start. Still not done, but in 3 days of work I put in 30+ hours with a buddy.

Overall I deem this experience TERRIBLE. Definitely one of the worst things I've done to the truck (in some of eyes, it's the bumper, in mine it's this used pos kit). It's a battered and bruised kit. Looks like it's been *****...by what I don't know. We had to fab up a lot of our own pieces throughout the install. It's still not done, and wont be for quite some time as I have to recoup some cost.

Parts that I need, am making, or need to finish:
Shock hoops (currently has no front shocks)
New U-bolts
New drive shaft
New torsion bars
Get smaller CV bolts
Make new heim steering (old is bent, broken, ****** up, etc)
Alignment
Flip zero rate to push axle back 1.5" instead
Drill out new holes from new compression struts
More painting
....and i think that's it for now.....

So anyways...onto pics...

wow thats a mean lookin truck. good work.

Are both the BMW's yours?

Thank you. It's no where near done (picked up more parts tonight, soon to have new wheels to push the tires out more, build rear bumper, etc etc).

I wish they were both mine....They are my buddies. He built the 1974 2002 ground up in about 2-3 months total. He recently built a turbo into it. It's much faster then his M3 right now. ******* beast

Need some bigger meats now. they look tiny.

Naw... I finally have clearance. I'll try and find pictures of how ****** up my fenders are after catching air in the dunes. I need new front fenders and flares as they are not fixable. Smashed the shit outa them. With the new wheels it will push the tires out another inch and should help with the overall stance. If someone would buy my wheels, I could do the new wheels sooner.

Haha, Thanks man. See above. I value my paint and fenders. These 37's come up fast...specially with no front shocks right now :Boo: Tomorrow the material gets picked up for the new steering and shock hoops so that will likely go on on Saturday along with the new torsion bars I picked up tonight for it. I still need to get my driveshaft lengthened as well :nono:

Thanks man....I'm actually going for function on this build rather then form. The 37's tuck nicely. If I were to go to a 38"+ tire size I would need a different wheel, would also need to stock hubs and ball joints because they will start to go. The next tire size (out of all the tires I would run) only come in 15.5" width. That's a little too much. I also don't want to regear again nor worry about the shafts in the 10 bolt or the CV's up front. The axle seals are already ****** in the rear. I've blown 3 CV's in 8 months...the list goes on

Spent a couple hours working on it tonight. Full heim steering is now fabbed up, small alignment adjustment, new torsion bars are in along with Ford keys, drilled out new holes for compression struts only to figure out they wont work so at that point we gave up for the night. Pics will come tomorrow during the day light.

Where is the turbo?!?! Lookin good!

Woah!! I didn't know you were sponsoring me :pepper: :pepper:

 I'm probably not going to change the aspiration of this truck. It's under warranty (Yes with all the modifications) and by the time the motor warranty is off it will have 100k miles on it. Not worth it at that point. I'll have a new one built by then and maybe, just maybe it will be done then.

Damn nice truck

Thank you sir.

I managed to fit my Honda under it today  Pictures later when I get home
