yikes... have fun lol

It's actually not that bad. The hard part was cutting the carpet and positioning around that heat/AC duct for the rear. I didn't realize it was right there ... that's what those 1 inch spacers are for.

Changed out 7 of 8 plugs in mine today. Couldn't fit my extension, etc. past the dip stick tube. ******! Will have to do it at the shop tomorrow. I can't believe the Hoe even ran. Original plugs at 15 years old. The electrodes were all but gone (even at 53k miles). Put Bosch platinums in.

How did your tire mount come out? I know you were pondering how to do it for a bit.

I thought about it too much...without ever looking at it. The standard mounting hook needs to be a few inches longer but I put a 3" S hook in there and a link and all the stock hanger harware worked just fine. had to pull the lower tire mounting guide out since it works for a 245/70/16, not a 35x12.5" It was a tight fit. I got in there and pushed it into the origonal mount area and it just fit.

Used a skull shift knob instead of the T handle...

replaced steering gear box, pitman arm, idler arm & the chassis
mount for the idle arm, changed EFAN that don't have the low
spd risistor, changed front brakes on wife car and a over look part
we don't think about is that round rubber coupling on the steering
wheel shaft at the gear box. Mine was pretty soft that was causing

play in the steering too now dobbs shouldn't have a problem doing a
wheel aligment and i did drive it to the corner seem to have better
steering. all these prts are warranty no money out my pockets.

Drove down to the local liquor stores picked up about 50 boxes to pack and then took it down to the recreational vehicle dealership in Bellevue. Looking at picking up a new or newish snowmobile.

Did they change something from '96 to '99?

I was able to get to all 8 on mine with no problems, extensions or otherwise.
I noticed things were close in the dip stick area when I was doing them, but
it was still easy getting to/replacing all of 'em.

Well I got the spark plug in that was more or less behind the dip stick tube. Had better light yesterday. Eye-balled it. Got out a thin wall deep-well 5/8" socket and voila! New spark plug back in the 5.7 in minutes. Now have all new spark plugs. had a ring of soot around the base of each plug so they must have not been firing to well. Tail pipe was sooty to. Gonna watch for the next couple weeks then pull one of the new ones. See if it is sooty to.

had squeaking when using wipers i thought it was the
wiper blades or the wind sheild this went on 4 yrs.
with a clear mind figured i take the wipers off the wind
sheild and turned them on still the sqeak was there.

took the crowl off and seen the linkage was rusty so i took
it apart and greased it no more sqeaking.:party33:
