Just got a shipment from Rock Auto
New inner door lever, door mechanism and a new latch post.

Got them in with a little help from a buddy.
Surprisingly easy to do.
Didn't even have to take the window out!!
Managed to do in place.

Is mint to have a new setup in the old Rig!!! :favorites37:

yeah Boiiii!!
Just had these turn up from over your way.
A set of Various Mfr lights for the Yukon.
Even came with bulbs!!

I am slightly disappointed that they are not glass but I think the tinted finish will update the look of the front that I am hope to achieve.

Have done a few thousand miles around the South Island of Home(New Zealand) over the last 12 months and as inevitably as happens you get damage from trucks n cars chucking stones.

Both park and headlights have stone cracks so is time for a tidy up
:peace:

Be sure to put a bead of silicone around the lenses where the 2 pieces are glued together. Seems like the aftermarket manufacturers never use enough sealant and they always get moisture inside of the lenses. Id also use a little dielectric grease on the gaskets--the ones around the bulbs that plug INTO the back of the lens. Did this with mine and its been 7-8 years and they're bone dry.

Thanks Tony
I will do that. Anything to create some good longevity in these after market lights would be good.

I have 2015 seats in my 96, and my center console jump seat arm rest needed to be recovered. So I did, pretty easy, staple gun from Harbor Freight. Replacement vinyl from Amazon. Color is actually identical but the camera is showing the new one darker

Looks great. Looks like you had it stitched. They sell those covers new on Amazon and ebay for cheap.

Hey y'all
Had these turn up today
1000009055.jpg
I ordered VARIOUS MFR black park/indicator lights and if you have a look it reads black on the box but as you can see these are a silver bezel.

Not to mention these are DEPO not VARIOUS MFR

This is the replacement shipment for the 1st set that Rock Auto got wrong so I now own 2 sets.

It doesn't worry me between DEPO or VARIOUS MFR as they are similar in price.

My problem that they have a packaging mistake and think they are sending the correct color.

3rd shipment is on the way

Am wanting black to accompany the new tinted headlights I just received.

Think I will have to email customer support again. This is taking up time and their money.

New spares ain't bad tho

And so it is!
After a few emails back and forth to Rock Auto customer service they have gone through their available stock checking all boxes and it turns out that their supplier has indeed packaged the lights incorrectly so all of them are the silver and no black bezels available.
Bummer :bawl:

I decided to set them up with the grill I have repaired and painted and the new tinted main lights.

They look rubbish. New!! But no

So seeing as I now have multiple sets and a refund I am going to mask em up and black the surround then attach with black screws to see if I can achieve the look I want

The main lights are tinted with the same new shiny bezels so I think it will come together okay

@97YukonNZ,

You are an OBS Saint, my friend.

Hoping this lights a fire under the staff's ass to package the correct lights, next time.

Sorry it came at the expense of your troubles, but the final product will be soooooo worth it!

Not their fault either so good to save others a hassle!

Just gave them a base coat and will get some gloss or clear on them after I look at them for a minute.

With the refund from them I have purchased a set of black led grill edge markers with orange light so that should pull it together.

You guys will have seen it all having these vehicles around you so I'm looking forward to showing my spinoff when I get it together.

Cheers
