Cleaned Up!

Well today I cleaned it up, and also did some minor de-ricing! In the first pic when I had bought this Yukon few weeks ago it had that billet looking gas cover. It was too much for me. So I purchased a factory one from a used vehicle and painted it today and replaced the billet one. Also power washed and detailed the Yukon, nice day here!

I finally! got the simple 4 High mod. It took all of 10-15 minutes to get it wired. Biggest issue is I have so many freakin wires and relay harnesses and ballasts under the hood lol.

I melted some of the instulation on the green and the tan wires. I wrapped my diode to create solid contact since I didnt have the soldering iron on me. I heat shrinked and electrical taped it up tight.

Now my 55w HID lows and 35w HID fog highs come on when selected on high! Was so stoked.

Swapped out my idler pulley, tensioner and serp. belt. Both the idler and the tensioner sounded like roller skates. Plus the tensioner was bouncing around alot implying the belt was getting hung up a lot. Now she runs smooth and no more loud noise.

someone backed into me today im pissed off. Hit my driver side. Time to take it back to the shop that it was in a couple of weeks ago and get more body work done to it son of a *****. I love that thing to death but it being in the body shop and then other places for mods it sad but then its always fun to drive around the duramax.\

$1200 in damages

Hankooks are about 1 level down from the Duratracks but far cheaper ...

---------- Post added at 08:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:41 PM ----------

I had Hankooks on a S10 ZR2 Blazer and they lasted about 45000 miles. Good in the snow, rain and were stiff enough sidewalls.. It was a choice between Nittos,General Grabbers, or the Hankooks. The Hankooks were in stock and ready to go so I bought those.
