Hey
It looks well fitted. No way that will slip up under the gas pedal!
Do yoy plan on taking it out every now and then to let the carpet breath?
I guess summer will be all good but i would think youll get some moisture trapping there when its wet maybe.
Nice job!
I live in Florida so we don't get too much moisture in there. But I am sure it will come out to be cleaned and such. I am amazed at how well it fits. I am so used to have separate mats and usually I would have used weathertech but they don't offer the full coverage of this one. I like that the hump gets covered too. My carpet is in great shape so I wanted to protect it the best I can.

I like it. It reminds me of the “Coin Matting” we run in the helicopters.

New windshield today. Started to delaminate so I figured why not. It was free with my insurance. In Florida, if you carry comprehensive insurance, you can get unlimited windshields. Pretty awesome. And Safelite did a great job and came to my home.

Pressure washed my frame and wheel wells to get all the winter off of it. Gave it a good wash with a new mitt, and chamois her off. Changed front and rear diff fluid. Filled up with 94 octane and some fuel stabilizer. Half a tank cost $147 CAD. Backed into my garage and parked in protest of ridiculous gas prices. Lol

Always loved the Yukon GT's. I would have gotten something along these lines when I got mine, but it was impossible to find one within reasonable distance in my price range. Yours is a beauty for sure.

Hi!
After the fantasy with Grill in the mirror:
Wanted to replace the plastic headlights on the four-eyed glass optics with "Bosch".
But, in Russia it is a rarity. And very expensive.
Found and bought.
Glass "Bosch" Old and with a bad reflector.
The new ones are BOSH. no longer make(.
There is a substitute in the same size. It is VESEM under license from HELLA.
Installed with some modifications.

The grill in the mirror and four-eye optics were installed on the car today.
We used a wiring diagram of the optics with the ability to function four dipped beam lamps or four high beam lamps.
In the lip under the bumper still work two lenses "HELLA" dipped beam and two fog lamps "HELLA".

I'm back!!!! Franken Betty has sat for a bit but today I picked up some new to me 275/65/18 at's. Gonna get them mounted, balanced and an alignment done. Need another amp as one of mine died, so I'll be putting in a Skar 5 channel. We put Skar component speakers in the doors but now the amp shit the bed. To be fair it is a 20 year old Soundstream LOL. It might cool off eventually so I'll be driving her more.

Franken Betty lives. She's got new shoes. Amp comes on Monday. Of course the ac doesn't want to come on but I think she might be a little low on freon. I'll get that checked out soon. Tomorrow she gets her wheels balanced and alignment done.

I was going to sell her. Ran into my kid at the gas station as he was heading to the shop. He just shook his head at me when I gave him a shit eatin grin. He told Tim that there's no way I could sell her, I smile everytime I'm behind the wheel.

Guess I'll go out and give her a bath. LOL

Important lesson learned. Drive the damn truck more. Went to roll up the driver side window and some bracket came loose and the window went all cattywompus. Bonus though, I got my amp. cannot wait to get this thing installed.

Just in time for winter...

I fixed the passenger side door handle again. This is not something I should be this good at. What a horrible design.

I also had a minor cut-out on my stereo in the right door speaker. I pulled the radio out (something else I've gotten too good at) and found a cut in one of the speaker wires leading to that speaker. I taped it up and all's good now. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the sound just using the factory speaker locations. It's nice having satellite radio.
