Getting my 272k mile Tahoe ready for a road trip. Serviced the trans, replaced the fuel filter, replaced tie rod end links, and had a fiasco servicing the transfer case. But all is well. Hitting the road in about 5 hours and will be sitting on the beach with a beer in my hand by early after noon.

Out with the old one and replaced ignition coil - battery tomorrow and good to go

Sometimes I really think the cell phone jammer is really a necessity in schools. A lot of students are immerging in texting during classes.This is annoying. I saw the site sells cell phone jammers but I don't know whether I can buy one for the sake of classroom order.

I took out that junk Airtex pump...replaced it with a Delphi...guess what...fuel gauge works again without doing the crazy spin...now to fill it and remove the aztek needles for the standard red ones I had. Nothing wrong with the aztek ones, they just don't match the gauges i picked for the pod.

Thats the only issue. I got a free 3 gauge pod, and only really need 2...so what to put in number 3?

Also need to figure out why after replacing the TBI unit, i now have a long shift point between 1-2, not a lot of power, and really crappy mileage... I am thinking its a dying TPS...but we shall see.

I am waiting on a call, so hopefully, she will be lowered today as well.

Sounds like what my TPS did when it was shot, was a long shift point 1-2 and didnt go in smooth, replaced it like 2 years ago shifted mint since

Was gonna go buy military tires with the money I mad from rims i sold but the dude didn't tell me be bad an accord so different partern Nd he had to return them

That is why I always make sure all sales are final, if he screws up it's his problem.

Yep, the tps fixed it...long shift is gone, stays in OD on a hill, and has more get up and go (that I thought got up and went)

Now for the rest...

i had to order a new set of L E D tails my wife bagged into a rail
and broke pass side one DAM,DAM,DAM. It cost me $130.00 for
the xcact ones i have now.
