I need to replace my inside handles. They are peeling and just about to become a slicing hazard lolI paid $160 for 4 chrome handles. They were cheaper in a 4pk 2 weeks ago. But no longer available. I like them, they should last a long time.
Wrap them in Goon Tape, or similar.I need to replace my inside handles. They are peeling and just about to become a slicing hazard lol
apparently I am a beast and cracked the passenger side exhaust manifold in half, sounded like a hand operated air compressor kind of a weird sound.
thought maybe it was the gasket but no such luck. no codes and no loss of power, probably would have thrown a code eventually though.
I live 4 miles from a pick a part Junkyard. I'll visit it once they get a couple more GMT900s in.Wrap them in Goon Tape, or similar.
nah, I have used headers before a couple times for me it's a constant job of trying to keep therm from either working there way loose or leaking, I have also cracked headers the factory cast iron are much more robust and trouble free.Time for headers! Looks like you can only get shorties if you want to stay CA-complient, but those are still good for a few hp/tq, and will sound better.
See, right there is your problem.... That maple leaf means it's only good for cold temps. You need the ones manufactured in Australia, where they can survive real heat.nah, I have used headers before a couple times for me it's a constant job of trying to keep therm from either working there way loose or leaking, I have also cracked headers the factory cast iron are much more robust and trouble free.
mine cracked like here behind the heat shield, so you can only see it from underneath with a flashlight

They currently have the highest temps on the planet, by far.
