yeah I'll try to get one when I'm home. Really happy with the fitment. They look identical to me front and rear. Tire is pretty flush with the fender. The widest part of the tires stick out a tiny bit (maybe 1/8 max - probably more like 1/16).

Initially I had a moment and put the +20 wheels up front. I was pretty concerned when they were sticking out so much but relieved to realize I was just an idiot.

Still waiting on the rear control arms to center the axle front/rear.

Trying to baby these gears for the first couple hundred miles but I wanna stomp on it so bad. The 4.10s combined with the wheels/tires being 11 lbs lighter per corner seriously woke it up. Those changes more than make up for the heavy front rotors and 4l80. Feels pretty nimble
Your new wheels look close to the NASCAR Next Gen wheels. Really neat.

Can you post a front angle shot so we can see the tires in relation to the body?

Here’s another from yesterday. Not from the front but shows it pretty well. The rear fitment was an eyesore for me for at least a decade so I’m pretty happy.

Also painted my exhaust tip about a week ago and I dig it

Today I think I finally did some personal progress.
I've borderline hoarded half broken parts I've replaced because of the "what if".
Yes it's nice just having a part that likely will last another week or two while you wait for a proper replacement on a sale somewhere. But come on. Into the bin it went, I'd rather wait two weeks than reinstall this thing.

Rear door got stuck again... The lock doesn't feel positive like the others.
Thinking I screwed up the latch.. $200 mistake putting the door panel over the lock rod..

Door panel coming off again!

I'm not 100% sure what you have going on but it sounds similar to the problem I had.

I ended up unsnapping the plastic retainer that holds the door handle lever rod (not the lock rod) to the latch and letting the two line up where they wanted to and then clipped it back on.

I was previously just detaching the rod from the handle when I replaced with the new handles.

There is just enough pressure on the latch from the handle to where it won't unlock. Kind of like when someone pulls the handle right as you hit the unlock button and it doesn't unlock.

After I figured this out the rest went smooth.

Hope this helps and saves you some cash... lol

Thanks! I was purposely pre-loading the linkage a little because it makes the rear doors less sticky. (until they don't open!)
So what you're saying is a real possibility. I hate that connector, can barely get the back ones off. Don't know how I would do the fronts.

I ordered the latch already, can return if not needed. Just want to be ready for (the last time) putting that door panel on.

I remember when doing the left rear door I had to undo that plastic retainer as well, otherwise I wouldn't been able to remove the door handle. (front ones are removable without ever touching that plastic goodness)

After installing the new handle I noticed it felt a bit weird to open. Sure enough, that metal rod was rubbing against the door side mechanism. Had to reach in there and bend the part that's on the handle, the banana hook on a spring or whatever it's called. it was pretty much the only metal part apart from the spring and you are able to bend it with enough force. Perhaps someone stepped on the box during shipping or whatever. Works great now.

I remember taking some photos but for that door only picture I found was this one. Could be a useful trick if you some time have the same problem with a seized "bolt" in an area you don't want to give heat treatment.

I just found out they're road-legal in my state.

you know what I found dumb, if you look up a GEM E825, those are basically tagged and insurance legal in every state on roads under 45mph speed limit. it's just a golf cart with better suspension that goes 25 mph. but ka trucks and cars aren't because they are useful and are worried normal people will end up using them, not just the golf course communities.

It's probably something dumb, like country of origin & tax-related. They're no more dangerous than a golf cart with blinkers and mirrors and lights.
