from the pic that looks just like torque app and that app is open source. so I'd guess yours right, as long as the radio you pick will support the app and had Bluetooth to a cheap dongle. it seems like it should work.

might be a blue too plug in missing but the pids for the standard obd 2 data is the same for both trucks. I don't see how the radio would know it's in a 06 vs and 07?
it's not the radio it's the interface used, I'm guessing you could tell it is 07 and just use the obd adapter for the data to the radio, I know certain things on the maestro can be bypassed or just simply not connected and could likely just be used for a obd data feed only

Those old shocks were toast.
Since they wear ever so slightly it is easy not to notice how bad they have gotten over the years.
It was a night and day difference on every car I've done shocks and struts on.
Was very noticeable when I did all four on my sister's 2009 Silverado.
My brother in law could believe the difference and he hardly ever drives the truck.
Yeah as soon as I compressed the old vs. new side by side I could tell they were smoked. Saving my pocket lint and buttons for a pair of 5100s for the front.

For general auto repair - mainly stuff I don't want to do and prefer to farm out, like the in-tank fuel pump - I use Atlee Auto. They're excellent. Drop me a PM if you end up moving here. I can give you some tips for the area.

I'm a go there tomorrow i think my axle seal is leaking

Great weather weekend so I gave the truck a wash. Bonus pic of our friend's Wrangler 392; those things sound so badass from the factory it's wild.

Another fun one.
During the morning commute I started hearing a noise, couldn't tell what is was. On the way home, it got much louder...started diagnosing on the drive. Sure enough, found the original u-joint looking unhappy. Nicely drove to the parts store for a new one and back.
Couldn't get the old one out of the drive shaft. Angle grinder fixed that...judging from the rust where it broke, this joint was cracked for some time.
Missed work today, but she's solid again!

Kids LOVE these rigs. Snapped this one after a hike in Shenandoah National Park. Our friends' daughter is in the middle.

And they don't outgrow it.

I snapped this Pic last summer on our way to Gatlinburg. My 14yr old daughter was sprawled across the 3rd row, 23yr old boy and his girlfriend in the second row, and wife in passenger seat not shown. All were asleep.
