I was taking the drivers seat cover off to steam the foam completely and let it dry but I tore out a couple clips. Usually you can slide them out but since I was leaving the seat in I couldn’t. Oh well. I just ordered a new OEM seat pad. Delivered in 2 days. Installed it today. Huge difference.

Damn, that looks great.
Can you share where you got your cushions from and did you recover them as well?
Thanks

Washed my wife's equinox today, first time since possibly October last year. Poor car, was so dirty, the suds were dripping off grey. After it was clean, it made the tahoe look pretty bad so I washed it as well...first time since...mid November or so. All the shop grunge is off it now and its very shiny.
Pics, or INH..

No I have not ( just ordered a moment ago )

I need to remove my interior front door panels to trouble shoot stereo speakers

The ratings looked good on Amazon reviews
harbor freight sells some, they are ok mine have taken some abuse broke some tips/ends in the process, others I have bought are garbage mostly because of being too "soft" and having no pry strength.

Gents I am having an issue with TPMS relearn after swapping my rear tires from side to side when doing the rear brakes this weekend.

Parking brake set, key on but not running. I can enter the relearn in the DIC menu and activate it. Horn beeps twice and the left front lights up.

I hit the l/f with the trigger tool and it beeps and the r/f lights up.

I go to that r/f wheel and hit the trigger and it beeps TWICE, then the l/f light comes back on??

So I go back to the l/f and hit the trigger and there is no response.

If I skip back to the r/r and hit the trigger the horn beeps once, no lights at all.

l/r wheel no response.

Go back to the menu it's stays stuck in relearn mode. If I key off and back on to force it out it now reads NO sensors reading AT ALL. And the damned TPMS dash light is lit.

I tried this several times to same result.

Should I do a battery disconnect reset to the vehicle? That's all I can think of trying next.

Yea I get the no pry strength.

I have found that using a couple tools in tandem with each other is really helpful with most small trim tab / access panel pry off. Use the skinniest tool to create a small gap and then a slight larger tool to apply leverage to pry a little to remove it - pop it open.

I did have the hood open during this, don't know if that affects anything in this process.

Close the hood and find out. :happy175:

Kidding. But worth a try.

Are you doing this away from any other vehicles and sources of radio interference?

Not sh*tting you I was actually at work last night in the warehouse doing this and I DID have a transistor radio on the dash with the Super Bowl game on.

I'll try again tonight without the radio and the hood closed and do a battery reset as well and see what happens. :)

I personally know nothing about this, as neither of my vehicles are equipped with TPMS (an apparent blessing) Reading your post, I can’t tell if you did this yet, but it seems like you would need to clear all of the sensors, and do a relearn on all of them, since you’re moving wheels / sensors around to different corners of the vehicle. I think you ended up there, but not sure if you started the learn process over again.

Can’t wait to see the results. Iirc pretty much anything and everything affects the TPMS relearn like having a dome light on etc so maybe the hood is the issue.

Maybe the two rear tire sensors were sleeping? Go for a drive to wake 'em up and try again.

I thought they only sleep when they’re new and once they’re woke up they never go to sleep again. I remember when I bought 4 new ones and built a pvc tube container (pipe bomb lol) to put them in so I could pressurize them, I couldn’t get them to sync and I found out new ones are in sleep mode off the shelf so the batteries don’t start going down until after they’re installed. I read they need to be subjected to centrifugal force of about 15-20 mph so I tied a rope to the pipe bomb, went out in my yard and started swinging that contraption in circles. All I ever got out of that was dizzy and some strange looks from my neighbors. I was like “ what, this is normal, people..nothing to see here…” Anyway that’s what I read. I never got those to program until I put them in the wheels, installed tires, mounted them and went for a drive.
