I replaced my torn and greasy shift boot with the one I bought from Sam Harris [emoji41]

While I had the lower dash panel off I cleaned up/rerouted some of the factory wiring that was hanging down to the left of the OBD port.

Appaerntly, the harness that ran to the upfitter box was routed in front of the BCM and around it to the right. Then the big square plug that's supposed to be in front of the BCM was hanging down a bit just to the left of the OBD port.

I think one of the authentic experts on the subject doesn’t fancy husbanding a novice through a bunch of analog problems..

we were all novices at one point. Hell i asked a boatload of basic questions on here when i first got my Tahoe. I’ve learned so much here and I’m still learning.

I shouldn’t have spoken for any of the authentic experts here, but for certain, none have ever been miserly with their advice or experience. I totally agree helping noobs is what this place is all about.

I can only speak for myself. If I were one of the real experts on modding these trucks, offering advice and experience to someone whose motivation is making a buck creating interesting YouTube content would be a very different thing, versus someone whose motivation was getting the truck they always dreamed of.

The latter would be rewarding, the former not as much.
