My Amazon one unscrews at the bottom for draining/cleaning. The “dipstick” is handy I guess but I don’t accumulate enough between oil changes to worry about it. Fittings are ok, hose was garbage.

This one looks like its higher quality than the Tasan Racing one. I can't tell if it has that brass mesh filter inside the baffles or not. I almost want to get this one and then a sheet of that brass filter mesh and put some in between the final two baffles that look like they come apart. Its not much more expensive and looks to be of way higher quality.

This is very true. The only thing I don't like about the $85 one on catchcans.com is that the lower section doesnt unscrew so the only way to clean it all the way out is by taking the whole thing off. I think the 3" one on that site does have the base that unscrews- but its expensive. The Tasan Racing amazon special does have the lower section that unscrews. So that's nice.
The one I posted has a check valve at the bottom. No unscrewing necesssry.

I did pipe sealant all fittings and lube the o-ring that holds it together. Has been working great.

Used this paint pen thing to cover up a couple chips/scratches, works ok I'll call it a 6ft pen, lol

LOL, talked me into one finally, after looking at quite a few I found this one $25 on amazon with a dipstick @CHOO CHOO haha
https://www.amazon.com/Ruien-0046-U...6XK9PTP7/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8

reviews are good for the most part, people say it smells or appears used but it's just laced with cutting fluid from china so it needs a little clean out and deburring and better hose but an overall effective cheap can
Thats the same one I’m gonna get just sold under a different name

well it's better than looking at a big black spot, did one on my drivers mirror and edges of the doors, cheaper than a paint job, lol

Yep that doesn’t look bad, I tried one on a door chip and hood chips but it looked worse after because it was all raised up. I don’t know wth Im doing.

Same. Mine looked like a bunch of raised moles. I think if they're wet sanded once they're dried it wouldn't look bad.

I used this touch up paint with acceptable results:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N22JMJ9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7KasDbYBBCJJ9

I had a 3/8" paint chip on the lift gate where a PO apparently tried to close the rear glass on something. Two coats of color plus two coats of clear blended pretty well. I'll try to post a pic later. It's raining here at the moment.
