2wd or 4wd or awd?, my clunk was the front differential mounting brackets

4wd. I can make it happen turning right just coasting or going straight. Doesn’t happen turning left. And it doesn’t always happen either. I can make my whole trip to work and not feel it until I turn into the lot. Then sometimes I feel it straight out of the driveway.

product line is associated with the vin code, on my 2012 I select "2", when I got mine I did a google crash course on how that all works, the vin identifier changes from product to product line on my 03 silverado it's one number off from what it is supposed to be and I only found that out by reading a technical note online, it's something like the 4th or 7th/8th character in the vin, If you google "tech2 manual" a lot of information will pop-up then I just cherry picked what I wanted to read/know, there is some little tricks to it like the drivers door lock controls other stuff so there is a sub menu for all that.
Yeah, figured it out. The 4th digit of the VIN is used for passenger cars. The 5th digit of the VIN is used for vans and light trucks.

From 2007 through 2010, C is for RWD and K is for 4x4 or AWD Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC full-size pickups and SUVs.

2011 through 2014, Cadillac uses 3 for RWD and 4 for AWD, Chevrolet keeps the C for RWD and K for 4x4 and GMC uses 1 for RWD and 2 for AWD and 4x4.

Spent a couple of hours driving around after trimming rear wheel wells. Set up the TPMS sensors. The 2/4 drop rides real nice. Haven’t even hit the bump stops without free travel mod.

Looks great! Surprising on the bump stops, mine was basically resting on them before cutting. I’m back up to 3” and free travel model and no more hitting.

I don’t think the NBS have that ability.
Yeah, don't think it does.

On another note, does an 01 require the Candi module? I was using it without and was able to get data from most components, but when messing with HVAC or Dash modules it was unable to connect.

I think I’d does but I don’t remember. I just leave it attached since my 02 needs it.

which reminds me, on my 2012 I had cleared any saved codes on my bcm so when I scan it there cleared and gone, yet when I took it to the dealer last time and they scanned it all the previous codes I had cleared out came up on there printout. I thought that was kind of weird.
