I believe @norcallss uses grand Cherokee bags on his springs. He has a lot of experience with this so I would message him.

Dropped the spare tire and removed the RH heat shield when I was swapping the muffler. After well over a year, I have yet to see any signs of corrosion on that heat shield tab repair. That may be a slight amount of surface rust on that one bolt. It was probably rusty to begin with.

Tahoe sat in the hotel parking garage in downtown Austin since around noon on Friday to about 7pm last night and during that time the 4 year old Interstate battery decided that it’s had enough.

Buddies and me got back from the race to head back to DFW and it just clicked, everything was dim and so on. Before calling AAA, we decided to try wiggling the battery cables and that helped just enough to get it started. Barely, but still started.

No issues while driving back, but it was dead again this morning. Multimeter showed only 10.2V. Hooked it to a charger for the day, but while having 12.5V it still didn’t want to turn over. So, time to ditch the Interstate and got a replacement from Advance Auto. Got the Platinum AGM one for under $150 out the door (20% coupon and $20 in rewards) and the truck is back in business again.

@93blkongreenpro , did you have to use a different size as well?
I'm running the air lift 1000 kit, whatever size that is. Anymore than 15 psi and it raises the rear. I can get a good 2-3 inches of lift when aired up.

Talk to norcallss and he will recommend and sell you the correct air lift kit.

Just for the record the "1000" in airlift 1000 is just the series. It denotes the 1000 lbs load leveling capacity.

The bladders needed for the stock size springs is part #60769

The bladders needed for the 6" drop springs (and probably others) is part #60742
They can be found by searching fitment for a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder.

My guess would be the same as the ones I posted for the 6" springs but it's better to PM him to be sure.

new gas cap, got the tighten gas cap message past couple days in the morning when it's cool, already changed all the other evap stuff this summer and I was going to change the cap as well but just never got around to it, the old one never "clicked" so maybe it just finally wasn't sealing properly I guess I'll find out soon enough. $19 from the dealer with my fleet discount. my first thought was maybe someone was trying to steal gas but I had just filled it up and it was still full
