No, I was asking if that's a stock GM color. I was curious what it's called?
I knew what you were asking but I should have worded that different. No it's not a stock GM color. It was originally the stock GM silver but now it's actually a color off a 2018 Toyota Avalon called Ooh La La Rouge. I guess the PO saw it and wanted it, IDK. It is a great color and even though it's similar to a GM color, it's different enough to notice for sure. Kinda wish it wasn't off a Toyota but oh well.

Changed plugs and wires, I pulled out 495s. Do not know when the plugs were last changed because it was over 100k when I got it. Put the 110s in and the VMS wires. Runs smoother or at least seems too. Had to bend down that pesky heat shield by #8, how do you remove it? I want to modify it and re-install. Old plugs didn't look too terrible, I'm guessing they were changed around the scheduled miles so probably only has 61k on them. I'm gonna check the gap on them later today.

pretty sure you would have to pull the transmission to get at the heat shield, the trick is to use just the right combination of adapters for #8 then it's a breeze

Removing the plastidip from the wheels. I see why people like this stuff now. Inwas trying the black to see if I wanted to PC them black, but ah, idk. But its coming off easy so far. Did 6 layers and I can tell where it sprayed thin on the inside of the spokes. This is about 5 minutes in on the first wheel. It was applied in middle of April.

That thin stuff was a PITA to get off on my old wheels. I think I did 4-5 coats and it still didn't peel off well. I still say keep them the way they are

Mounted the 3rd row seat brackets, bought the brackets off eBay, bolts didn’t fit. Went to my local Home Depot, didn’t have the bolts so i said **** it, Tried to make some fit. That Didn’t work so i went to Lowe’s up the street and they had some that fit. 7/16-14 bolt. Everything works, Took the seats out and waiting on the 3rd row seat locks to come in so they won’t get stolen

They're probably metric. What's a seat lock? Is there a black market for 3rd row seats?

I wouldn't call it a "black market", but a market nonetheless. They're just so easy to smash the back glass (or even pry it open without breaking it) and yank out to sell on Craigslist, ebay, etc. to those that don't have them or those replacing theirs that got stolen. I wouldn't be surprised if some have actually bought their stolen seats back!

I'm sure people have bought their own seats back before.

This. There was a huge theft problem a few years back about these. Smash and grab. Quick couple hundred bucks on CL.

One of my buddies is a cop and says CL and ebay are gigantic places to fence stolen property.

I used to etch the VIN in the glass and bumpers of my Buicks. Might do something similar with this truck, and the seats too!
