yes there was a update to them in 2010, just order a LEFT one for a 2013 on rockauto the oem one is about =$65-70, there's a 5% discount code posted on the main forum page, tons of catch cans on amazon, take your pick

Added 2nd AGM battery in driver side tray and connected in parallel for now. I'll likely separate them later but needed to get something going for this road trip to keep the arb fridge going. Also sprung for Morimoto XB Projector headlights so got them bolted up. Might have pushed myself too hard and reinjured my hand. oops. we'll find out tomorrow. some pics of lights. realized I didn't get pics of 2nd battery. I'll get some tomorrow. nothing special factory mounting on driver front corner and factory cables over to passenger side and ground to side of alternator mount. functional for now.

mmm scanners are a investment so they generally cost money
the innova 7111 can sometimes be found for around $200-250 if you keep an eye out

need to up data a module and my 2 year ran out on 6/1. Just missed it. now it's 54$ and only good for 30days instead of 2 years.


and the software is still the worst thing I've every used. good job gm. blah.

My Scan tool is a Launch X431V+, does everything I have needed and I have done many jobs on many brands of cars. The problem is cost, every two years I have to invest another $400 to keep it up to date, if you do not update they lock your tool. Since I am retired now when I use it I am usually helping a friend or fixing my own cars. I wish I could keep it working and not get future updates, then in 4 or 5 years just buy a new unit but that option is not available. You pay or they lock you out. So a great tool but costly.

found out today the aftermarket makes nice bi-led with a built in gyro to turn towards the inside of a corner when the car turns.

no longer oem German only tech. ugh, now I want to replace every projector retrofit I have haha.

My gear builder just notified me that my rebuilt transfer case is ready for pickup. I'll be getting it most likely tomorrow and then set up for the installation.

That's interesting for sure. Trying to figure out how it works. From the pics it looks like it just pivots in the center (obviously) but what controls the pivoting? Just the weight shifting? Seems like that would be very dependent on how level everything was installed and also how level the road is, no???

What happened to your transfer case Joe? Too much HP from the supercharger? Swapping to a Hi Low gearbox? Just curious.
