I assume those are the upper control arms? the 1st design is the only ones with a angle.
also it looks like you might run into the same "bushing" issue i did with the spohn, hollow bushings with a sleeve, mine split in half, then that allows the rear end to move making a sinking feeling when stopping and then a rise when accelerating.

Yeah they’re the uppers. What do mean by the first design being the only ones with an angle? I think the bars need to be at an angle relative to the bushings if the bars are straight.

I haven’t heard of that happening with Apoc. Hope not…

my upper control arms are straight, the 1st design is angled, why i do not know, I assume the frame or axle mounting points are different on some models, otherwise there is no reason for them to be angled

you should be able to put those side by side with the oem arms to see if the angle is wrong

oh that's weird

the angle is correct, and the narrow end should be towards the front. I'm just thinking the notches are on the wrong sides

I know his pic is at a weird angle, but this might help explain what I mean

the ones pictured on there website have no notch at all and the upper ones they do have pictured are angled, have you sent them a picture like this one?
somethings not right..... or there photos are wrong

Yeah I sent it hours ago and they've gone silent... I'm looking through their photos now, and it shows the threaded side towards the front, even though they told me to flip them around..... I understand that the notches were later added and they never updated the website pics to show them

I did learn that the 2010 up panels have a major reinforcement in that beautiful bump. I used to hate it but now appreciate it. They had to do something to deal with the plastic strength. I guess!

Guess we have different issues with the Dorman handle, but I also give it 9.5/10 rating!

I have a feeling the plastic bump in the 10-14 panels maybe a sound deadening measure. It's sort of a box with walls/baffles. I reach for the door panel and bump seat switches with hand. If I manage to grab anything in the pocket, i can't get it out. A clenched fist won't fit. It's terrible to me!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get a clear answer

Any possibility the cutout is for tire clearance? Or does it look like it will hit the caliper?

Apoc was slow with updates. Maybe they build to order, but they let me cancel my order after a week or two since it hadn't shipped.

2500/3500 emergency tire jack. Collpased length 8.5" vs 7.25" stock
Extended length 20" vs 17.75" stock
Diameter top tube 1-3/8" vs 1-1/4" stock
Load limit 3175kg vs 1800kg stock (suspected)
IMG_0795.jpeg

Hoping the extra height won't be an issue with flat tire... It just fits in the stock mounting bracket. There maybe a shorter heavy duty version out there.
Look for solid base rivets, as I haven't seen any heavy models using the hollow rivets. (but not all solid rivets have 3000kg rating either)

jack handle extensions longer and key end has a washer stop welded on...

Doubt it is for tire clearance the arms are behind the splash guard

I was asked on another forum what the difference was at night with the hybrid lights so I figured I'd post here to.
Hybrid.jpg
. Pictured are the hybrids. Only the top portion of the light is illuminated at night with the bottom strictly being turn signals. I really want to put LEDs in the plate housing but all the screws are stripped out lol.

Doesn't look like it would be for tire clearance at all. It doesn't look like it would hit, but I was told it can hit if turning up an incline.

I thought that's how they all were? I rewired mine so that all corners are brake lights, and the middle doubles as a white backup and amber turn

I'm on the search for a sleek metal front (and rear) bumper. Most of them are way too bulky. My factory ones are looking *****, and instead of doing a factory replacement, I'm considering going this route. I think something low with metal bumpers would be different and pretty cool. Maybe powdercoated bronze to match my wheels. Maybe a clean version of this Move bumper.

The yukon at least had all 4 running as running lights.
