Swapped wheels and tires on the Yukon. Bought a set for $800 a while back and finally got around to swapping them out since was almost 60°F here.

The Yukon needs a bath but everyone else had the same idea today and lines were 1 hr long. I’ll go later tonight when most folks are in bed.

Had Joseph help do the heavy lifting. Almost didn’t have enough a$$ to do it, but he got it done. Told him if he was stuck on the side of the road with his girl friend he’d figure out a way to impress her so might as well do it here.

Have a set of chrome capped lug-nuts on order that I’ll swap out when I get them.

That's why I highly recommend a stand. Took us doing several before I said *** it and bought one. Excellent investment, even if you're just doing one

When i did my 700r4 i was able to do most of it on a table i built for the project, plus i have a chain hoist.
With the bell housing as a part of the transmission that worked pretty good.

But with this, I'm not seeing a good way to keep it vertical for easy assembly.

One method would be a short table with a hole in it for the output shaft to stick through.

But it's $100 for a 6l80 mount, sounds easier..

Stereo is installed but I just need to get the steering wheel controls working. For some reason when I try to set up the volume buttons, it is treating both as the same thing... The backup camera is working too! That was fun...

The aftermarket lights use a crappy ball and socket thing for the adjustment. The driver’s side one had popped out in shipping (twice), causing it to hit the lens. Apparently it’s an issue with stock housings, and I’m sure the extra weight of the projectors didn’t help. Got it popped back in tonight and it’s working now. Also wired in the switchbacks tonight and they’re working great. Better pics soon...
