Fixed it plus cut the bolts down on the ones by the TB so I could turn them around to “clock” them the same direction (thanks @iamdub ) and use a shallow socket on them since there wasn’t enough room for the deep socket due to
!!!!!!!!!SUPERCHARGER!!!!!!!!

Hey guys new here, I’m usually on the obs side but recently picked up a 2005 Yukon 2wd (my city truck) lol. Put on some new brakes and changed this dinky little alternator power cable, and went with 0 gauge cable. How do I find out what alternator I have?b23282e61371c5227961703c5be27fac.jpg

That cable is small bc it's a fusable link. Some people put a nice big anl fuse there.

Might as well upgrade your grounds too

There's a small metal clip that's between the 2 cables that holds both pieces together. That's a 1 time clip. Replace both pieces of the cable at the same time. If not--it'll work, but after awhile that clip will break and you'll be back where you started.
Hmm shit. I was thinking I would just do the lower part of the cable. Should I replace the upper too?

Yes, def. I just changed out the lower and it lasted 6-8 months, but it started to get difficult for it to catch the gear when you move the stalk around 4 months. Def change both cables, you won't regret it. You'll regret it if you don't.
