Trip and fuel mileage not reading??

New to me 04 z71 Tahoe. I reset the personal trip mileage to 0.0 and the business one was already at 0. Now neither are reading?? What’s the deal?

Also, my steering wheel has the info center buttons on the lower left but nothing registers on the cluster when you press them.

I’d really like to see the fuel info, trans temp, and whatever else is there. Could the switch be bad? Any ideas?

By chance is the reset but stuck? Mine looks like a check mark.
