I might buy a 2011 Yukon Denali XL 300k, 6.2/6l80E that has a cylinder 7 misfire and a rebuilt 6l80E with about 4K since rebuild and has receipts. I'm thinking of offering 2K as they are asking 3K and been sitting a couple of weeks now. The trans alone is worth 2K if it will work for me.
What would it take to use the 2011 trans in my 2007 Yukon Denali XL? (Otherwise known as Cracker)
All i would really want off it is the Trans, transfer case and Heated/Cooled front seats, Then part the rest out or have it hauled off to the wrecking yard.

2010-2014 are electrically different, other than that unsure the specific differences, i'm guessing you might be able to get away with swapping the tcm,

Pretty sure you need to use the '11 ECM..

Swap the TEHCM/Valve Body/IMS/Harness-Speed Sensor assembly from your current 6L80 in your 07 Denali to the 2011 6L80 from that '11 Denali. The transmission cases themselves never changed over the years so there's nothing to worry about matching TEHCM/Valve Bodies to cases mechanically or hydraulically.

All the updates were contained in the TECHMs and valve bodies.

Thank you @NickTransmissions !!!!!!!
I just found your "How to buy a used gm 6L80/6L90 Transmission" video.
My transmission is working fine and a few weeks ago i did what this guy suggests in the first part of THIS video and trans feels great for sure, but i don't know if it has ever been changed. With 231K im just collecting parts for the future.
I do have HP Tuners and ACDelco TDS.
