Shows proper gear selection, PRNDL etc. Would that still work if it was the selector?

I'm not sure... just a guess.

I would check everything with a voltmeter... maybe you just lost a ground... although it seems unlikely since it's both sides... that is why I was thinking switch after you said fuses were good.

Thx for the idea. I checked 2 fuses, 1 for the reverse and the other was trailer backup harness--just in case. Suckers were still good. There's leds in them.

My cluster is dying while I drive, and coming back much more frequently now. I’m planning on replacing it for one with a trans temp gauge, but haven’t done it yet. I still need to do the big 3 / 4 upgrade. That one’s getting higher on my to do list. Also, when I had my windshield replaced, apparently the guy did a substandard job sealing it, since I get water dripping on my left foot now. [emoji2959] right below a damned fuse block. Not cool. He tried to seal it in a couple spots again, but it still leaks. Looks like it’s pull & replace time. Argh.

She's running good. Stretched her legs some today.

Hopefully she'll behave herself for awhile.

I'm not gonna argue with you--you are totally right. The adrenalin gets me going tho.

I feel ya on adrenalin, my 6.2 wants to run away at 80mph because it's in it's sweet spot... But I think 30 seconds ahead of myself... I imagine myself in a court room facing charges of manslaughter... Because of a moment I thought was fun opening my engine up thus causing a crash killing a 3 year old. I know that sounds gruesome, but it could happen and it keeps me from doing stuff like maxing out my speedometer. Imagine how bad you'd feel sitting in a court room for a little adrenalin rush. A bad choice like this can **** you up forever, then you'll spend the rest of your life wanting to take that 30 seconds back. I mean no disrespect to you, but be careful out there.

Holy hell man, aren't driveshafts susceptible to breaking at that high of speed? At least stock ones?

Be careful man, and definitely if you are trying or going for a CDL. Don't risk that shit, or your life.
Iirc it’s really only the trucks. I think the SUV’s are fine

All you guys are right, and I know it. I already have my class A.
Another thing to think about is this: if there’s anybody out there that either has a problem with you, a grudge against you, an unsatisfied customer from your business, anybody that wants to do you harm, and knows you’re on this forum can take what you just posted here and post it on social media and there won’t be any company that will hire you to drive for them. If I were you, Id erase any online evidence you ever did that. You really need to be smart and careful these days.
