I’d say dry fit the CHMSL in the sunlight and see what it looks like. As well plug it in tonight and see if you are feeling it. If not, ship it back.

That's what flat washers are for. :p:anitoof:
I just used the stock concave washer. Sticks out some, but it works.
Where you puttin those LED's man?
It's the 3rd brake light.

Good idea. Maybe I'll do it next week tho. I still gotta get that part # for my headlight switch for someone.
Where'd you get that light? Looks pretty much like mine. I kind of thought the same thing. I think "smoked" is relative. Its not clear, I guess.
Got it from Amazon. I thought the lens was smoked, not the inner plastic where the leds are. How do you like yours? Have any pics of it on?

Mine also from amazon. The link is in the Denali build thread.

Denali: smoked lens, black housing (I think this looks like the one you got, too)

Can always smoke the lens yourself. If I did the entire light across the back of the Esky, that little light should be easy.

I’ll even send you some of the tint if you PM me your address.

Think the tint will hold up to the weather?
Coolant temp off?
Thinking about hooking up the electric fans that way--maybe.

Could always send your PCM to BB and have the fans turned on

I think it's having more issues then just the fans. Getting weird codes. Calling around looking for someone to reflash it---or something. Also doesn't feel like it's 100% powerwise.

DOH!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL. You okay my man? Were you doing 104 again?
I'm good. I didn't get up that fast, I had just left the toll.
I’m hoping you have the tools onboard to put that back on since it keeps happening? You need to have someone hit the gas a few times while you look at it so you can see what’s going on because something is definitely wrong.
You know.......I was saying to my gf 2 days ago that I needed to put some tools in the teuck--I didn't. My mother came to my rescue :D. Good ol' mom. Literally took me 30 secs. While I was waiting I looked at all the pulleys--spun them, eye balled everything. Only thing I really saw was some rubber from the old belt that was in some of the grooves of the power steering pulley. I took it all out with my knife. That's really the only thing I saw. I really hope it doesn't happen again. Shit gets old.
I'll get my gf to gas it for me eventually. Just hard for her to get down the stairs now.
