Wow that’s one every minute and a half in March. crazy. TPW for my diesel order 05/01 hopefully it holds. order number with chat bot does not tell me much, except it’s moving through the production stage

They're cranking them out faster than they ever have before in the history of the Arlington plant. It could have been bumped for many other reasons not related to supply-chain issues. I know waiting is painful - I've been there. Hang in there, I'm sure it will be built and in your hands in just a few more weeks.

Considering I have had TPW's before, for a 21, a 22, twice last year for a 23, and yet again on a different 23. I am happy I didn't tell the wife we had yet another TPW, she would be fuming with them missing yet another one. GM hasn't delivered a single order to us in a few years. I doubt there are many others who have been waiting this long.

Last week I ordered a 2023 Tahoe LT Black on Black with the following:
-Lux Package
-20” Wheels
-2nd Row Buckets
-Max Tow (wasn’t going to get it, but dealer told me it was available and crazy if I didn’t)

4/6/2023- Ordered Placed with dealer and placed/accepted by GM. Deposit placed.
4/14/2023- Confirmed with GM Chat I was at code 3000. Would not give me a TPW, but my paperwork from the dealer said 5/1. Dealer said overall they are ranging 4-7 weeks from order placement to delivery, so that date would probably be right in line.

On February 7, 2023 I placed an order for a 2023 Tahoe LT with Luxury Package, 20" Machined Aluminum Wheels, in Radiant Red Tintcoat. The following is my order history:

03-07-23 3000 Dealer received an allocation for an LT and order was accepted by Production Control
03-15-23 3300 Scheduled for production with TPW week of 03-27-23
04-13-23 5000 Vehicle delivered to my dealer in SW PA
04-15-23 6000 Vehicle deliverd to me

37 days from order acceptance to delvery to daeler surprised me. I was very pleased with how fast this whole process was.

Back story: In June 2020 I ordered the exact same vehicle as a 2021 only with Max Towing Package and Sunroof. Picked it up on 09-29-20. Could not have been more pleased with my new Tahoe. Zero problems. On 02-02-23 with 9100 miles on it, a 47 year old in a smaller Buick Crossover SUV ran a solid red light and took the front end off my '21 Tahoe, totaling it. The good news is neither of us were hurt badly and vehicles can be replaced. I was without a Tahoe for 72 days. The new DIC and Infotainmnet system is taking some getting used to, but so far I like it. I am so pleased to be back in a Tahoe!

Wow that is very quick! I ordered my '23 tahoe premier with 3.0 and enhanced display on 3/6/23 and I had a tpw of last week (4/10/23) which I found out today just got pushed back to this week. Hoping for some movement here soon before interest rates get worse.

Mine was also pushed to this week from last week. I was told it will be built in the morning and I will have the VIN in hand by afternoon. We will see.

Love this color. My totaled '21 was Cherry Red Tintcoat, which looks the same as Radiant Red to me. My '14 Corvette was a similar color.
I have to agree, it us a great color and has a huge pop in sunshine. I would havegine with a silver or grey, but wife picked the color and we couldn't be happier.

According to GM rep we are at code 3400.....which I'm pretty sure means there's a robot in Arlington, TX putting together the jigsaw puzzle that is our 2023 yukon XL....maybe!

For those who have purchased recently, obviously the financing world is....rough right now, just curious what people are seeing as far as rates on local vs GM financing (or whatever else is out there people are using to finance). Plan is to finance the vehicle and use the extra income from my part time job to pay extra until hopefully things settle down and can refinance or just pay it off in 2-3 years!

credit union is probably your best bet. Some will still be in the 5% range give or take a quarter or two either way. Employee credit unions are where you'll see the best rates.

or find an institution offering a "special" rate... this credit union was offering 3.45% for 60-72 months and ended up being slammed with applications. They are now back up to +6%

Rates are anywhere from 4.5-7 and above near me. Hoping to stay near the bottom of that spectrum!

I ordered a Yukon XL ultimate in Jan 2023. Last month I was told that i am next in line for acceptance for my dealer’s Allocation. This month, the dealer said that the Ultimates are again on constraint. I don’t know if he’s telling the truth or jacking me around since this is a GMS order (code from retired GM executive family member). Any insights here on constraints that just came up?

That is my plan, I have a couple local credit unions I am trying to get numbers from. We are looking to potentially move our accounts to a new credit union as well, so I'm hoping we can use that to our advantage! Biggest problem I'm having is getting people to frickin contact me back when I inquire, it's been like that the entire time we've had the vehicle on order, hard to get a hold of people these days, especially when you can't do anything official until the vehicle is produced and there is a VIN to run it with!

Hopefully we will have the VIN soon and can start really looking!

Hit up the chat this morning....rep I got gave me some spiel about how "we've" found that providing event codes creates confusion....blah blah blah

So now I'm back on the chat waiting for a different representative

It must be the same lady that I got yesterday...she was very unhelpful! I really think that they should have a website with the information so that it can make anxious people like me feel better (even it has the same information as the automatic chat bot). I do wonder if they have record of how many times you contact them...

Second agent confirmed we are still at 3400 with no issues....nothing like consistent communication :p
