Why is there an option to get another 32MB card? Doesn't the unit come with one, and why would I want another?

Why is there an option to get another 32MB card? Doesn't the unit come with one, and why would I want another?
yep didn't see that port till just now, I just put the thing together and plugged it in, powered with the obd port alone it works fine
I am assuming to log a data file, save a configuration or for off line calibrations. @swathdiver ?

Yeah, there's another power port on the plug end where the candi modual plugs into

I haven't received tracking yet. Once I realized the shipping was $68 I decided to message and ask to upgrade to the unit with the case and free shipping since I would need a case anyway. They said ok and asked for the $6 balance which I sent last night. Waiting on confirmation and shipping information now. Hope this doesn't go sideways.

The second slot was for future growth. It also allowed those with units made by other than Vetronix to copy cards or run two cards and switch as needed, let's say you were working at a GM dealership that also serviced Saabs, you can switch back and forth when powering the unit up. Vetronix never used those features.
I have two of the same cards in mine, the first was beginning to get wonky, would boot up and show a 10 mb capacity sometimes while at others it would show 32 mb. GMT800 guys, the card has to be in the slot closest to the screen, for the CanBus GMT900 guys, it doesn't seem to matter.

Just an update....
Processing takes a while once it hits the US evidently.
Still showing Tuesday for delivery estimate.
Yep it’s called customs. I’ve had shit sit at NY customs for 2 weeks before. SF was usually fast but for some reason it always sat at NY.
that's because the MOB does a shitload of business in NY, the amount of crap that goes thru and comes from there is crazy, way more than the west coast and we are closer to China
The worst I found was every time I had stuff coming from Germany through NY. That was a few years ago when I was building Harley Davidson V-Rods and some of the custom stuff was only made there. I swear it would sit in NY customs for 2 weeks without doing a thing. It was almost like they were putting the boxes in a safe place and waiting to see if they blew up or something. All together it was 3-4 weeks to get my shit.
