Hit a couple of junkyards today. Forgot to look for gold bow ties. I did get these.

The look I am wanting is slowly being tweaked. I want to make the outside gold bow ties, metal flake blue. On my ride home, was thinking of bringing some blue inside with these and other trim pieces. Anyone customize there trim?

I have seen some guys on YouTube vinyl wrap the trim pieces. Lots of options in vinyl and easy to change if you need to.

I did the wood and silver for the dash and bezel myself when I first got my SSV - initially was looking for the DIC button but got the whole dash panels. Its a little lip stick on a pig but its my pig and I like the look. :)

ordered Fox 2.5" coil overs for the front and 2.5 struts for the back. both are adjustable. I am interested in seeing what the spring rate is on the fox and seeing what it is for the PPV. Then I'll decide where to go on springs.

ordering drop spindles for the front. new sway bars front and back......need to look at the links, see what I have/can come up with there.

So I finally got everything in, so Friday it was time to tackle the suspension.

So here is the component list:
McGaughy’s 2” drop spindles for the front.
McGaughy’s 2” drop spring for the rear.
MOOG front swaybar Links
Hellwig front swaybar
Hellwig rear swaybar with their adjustable links
Fox 2.5” coilover adjustable shocks with remote Resi for front.
Fox 2.5” adjustable shocks with piggyback resi.
265/70R17 Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra

Started by taking all preload out the coil overs so there would be zero height increase.

Decided to mount the resi in front on the frame. I think it looks good just picking out.

Had to go back a couple times triming the dust shield. But the drop spindles went in after the shocks.

And the back side needed sooooo much love. One rear shock was seized, the other was blown so bad gravity was collapsing it.

Had to turn the rear drivers side piggy back to clear the tire.

So this is 1” below PPV ride height ( 2 by spring, 1 by tire). Eagle 265/60r17
