You're in the right section, now just do a little reading. Tony is here to help (and sell), as are others. I've heard of more problems with McG kits than others, but that's not to say McG is bad, or that there aren't issues with others. Personally, I went with Belltech parts (though I do have McG strut relocator upfront).

I did the Eibach 2/3, did keys up front, rear springs and bought shock relocators. Course mine is a NBS.

Does your truck have autoride?

I for one have the mcgaughys 2/3 kit on our 08 LTZ and have zero issues.

$403 shipped is a steal if that includes spindles up front.

Problems, from any brand, can be rubbing, squeaks/noises, and rough ride. I'm led to believe that the Belltech (or TBSS springs, if you want to go low) are the best riding, but I haven't been in other trucks to compare.

You need to know if you have autoride. Some LT3s can have it, though it's not extremely common, apparently. You either have an air line going into your shocks (autoride), or you don't (no autoride).

Anyone who recommends "keys" up front is talking about pre-'07 models (which use torsion bars). We have struts up front in these models.

If that eibach kit has front coils, ur insane. If it's struts, ur fine.

Drop spindles and rear coils with shock extenders. Done.

Easiest way and most proven way to lower your ride.

I got the Belltech 2/3 from Tony. Its rides really nice. Its a lil over your budget at $525, but well worth it IMO.

I have brand new bell tech spindles for your front and brand new 3-4 springs for the rear and I'll match the $403 shipped. The kit isin the classifieds

I personally have the struts up front as Tony recommended to me and they do ride pretty good. I haven't had spindles on a NNBS so I don't have comparisons to speak of. The struts are kind of a pain in the ass because you have to compress the front coils to replace the struts.

if you have more than 40k miles id get the drop struts. The drop struts ride great and truck feels much more responsive than factory shocks.

Drop struts are nxt on my list.. I want to go another 1" up front.. +1 on Tony or Sweet N low. Both helped me out with my kit and offer great pricing!

Tony, I can't say I agree with this comment. I like the way the struts ride (better then stock) but as far as responsive, not so much. I rode on my 305/45 tires for a while before lowering my truck and once lowered I noticed that EVERY bump I hit makes the front end feel "loose". The steering wheel jerks to one side or the other. I have inspected ALL front end parts to ensure they are not warn, as well as the struts themselves, and nothing justifies it other then the drop. I intend to install a steering stabilizer to see if that helps, just my experience
