^ agreed. 11's and 12's are do able with our trucks with the right set up. My goal is 12 second DD I wouldn't mind a 11 lol. Turbo is my route.

Guess my idea was for a lifted turbo hoe/kon with 33s pulling high 13s or low 14s but loads of fun. I know these tanks can get down the track pretty fast but I would start with a Jeep SRT8 if I wanted to run a suv. You can get them down in low 10s which would be stupid fun for the street.

My denali could go on a diet lol. I weighed my 02 AWD denali with me in 5700 even with half tank. Take my fat ass out of it 5480 that's on stock 17's. I ran the quarter bone stock beside being lowered 130k stock 17's best was 15.893 @ 86.38.
TIME FOR PERFORMANCE UPGRADES! lol. Every 100 pounds you drop is a tenth off in the quarter and 10 horsepower gains a 10th. Something like that and I know it's different to the car or truck set up.
Billy

That is fairly impressive time for a stock Denali. My buddies 2004 4x4 RCSB Silverado ran that exact same time/mph but his is about 400 lbs lighter.

Were you running full quarter mile or just 1/8? Curious What yours ran in quarter. Bone stock I got a blistering 16.8@81 haha...

Mike

With a tune, cai and muffler change I ran a best of 16.942 @ 84.19. With a new transmission (shift kit, servos and other fun stuff), a multidisc 3000 stall converter and dropping weight I ran 16.437 @ 84.95. I'm still learning how to launch this damn thing, so time should get better as I learn.

You are a smart man my old Jeep SRT8 ran high to mid 12's with mild bolt on's - 10's can be done with boost and a built tranny
