Hey everyone,
I installed my first leveling kit this week - 2” RC + 3/4” Daystar Rear - and got some new tires. I love the way it looks, but I’ve realized now that it’s done that I have a question about the droop/bump stops:
Droop Stops - I’m not sure, but I suspect that I might be hitting my droop stops on driveways and such. Is this just my imagination? I’m not sure why I didn’t consider this in advance, but I’m assuming I lost about as much suspension travel downward as I gained ride height upward. I can see some light marring on the stop, but I don’t know if it’s from the UCA impacting during driving or contact from jacking.
Is this pretty common? Long term concerns/consequences? The UCA look like aluminum.
At 2”/0.75” I thought I was going fairly conservative, but now I’m not sure.
I appreciate the education, guys.
Dave
